Interview/shortlisting process

Hi guys, I have applied for two job roles with GS. Got a interview call for one of them. The status of the other one says its submitted only.

Can someone help me understand if whether the shortlisting process for the other role will happen parallel or will it be paused as a consequence of being shortlisted for one.

If its going to be paused, Id like to know if itll be reconsidered only upon closure of the other application (Either acceptance/rejection for the role)?

Kindly help!!

Genuine Career question

If a CA and an MBA (Finance) from a decent college have the same skills, knowledge, and work ethic, does the CA qualification still provide a long-term advantage?

Does being a CA help you get roles, credibility, or opportunities that an MBA typically reaches only after 5–10 years of experience? Or after a few years, does only performance and experience matter?

Would love to hear from recruiters and professionals who’ve worked with both or one.

Pls give some real advices.

I have given 3 attempts of CA inter and not able to clear it and now i can't study mtlb i even can't able to focus 1 hr and i was back then got 95% in class 12th CBSE board so i was very good student back then..and i don't like audit i don't like law and tax and all..i just opt CA because of my all cousins were doing...Currently i am 20 and thinking to learn skills various skills and get multiple internships and having real exposure where i need to be and what i am good at and after that have work experience of 1 to 2 year and then having mba from decent college...is this a good way to get in future because i can't study even about CA so i don't think so i can sustain in this course or any other professional course rn..

Spc gurukul

Please help me out. I have decided to take admission to SPC Gurukul, and I have to leave for Pune in 10 days. However, I’m still very confused.

I’ve come across a lot of negative reviews about SPC on Reddit. At the same time, I personally like teachers such as Pranav Popat Sir, Rakesh Sir, Pooja Datte and anand bhangariya sir . I do have some doubts about Swapnil Patni Sir and Ankita Patni Ma’am, but I think that’s still manageable.

What really attracts me is the Gurukul concept because there are a lot of distractions at home, and I feel that studying there might help me stay focused.

Despite all this, I’m still very confused. Please help me decide.

CA Foundation books not shipped even after 1 month – Anyone else facing this?

I ordered my CA Foundation books from the ICAI CDS portal on 26 May 2026, and it's been over a month now.

The order status still doesn't show any progress, and the books haven't even been shipped. I've emailed the CDS support multiple times, but every reply is the same: "Your order is under process." Nothing has changed despite repeated follow-ups.

This is really frustrating because it is affecting my preparation. I expected at least some update or an estimated dispatch date.

Has anyone else faced this issue recently?

I have heard people who wants to go in PE or finance are advised to do Statutory Audit and take exit from there after Qualification.
