The person i adopted the dog from told me it’s pure-bred chihuahua which clearly it isn’t. Post adoption, I’m blocked so I can’t ask them.

This is Little Goat. Over the weekend, he was zooming so hard, down a hill, and he ruptured his cruciate ligament. We have a surgery consult tomorrow. The emergency vet strongly recommended tplo surgery as soon as possible. He's 14 and otherwise healthy and up until this weekend, and very active. I'm wondering if anyone else has had experience with TPLO surgery or alternative treatment methods. For those who have gone through with the surgery, any in retrospect advice? Would you do it again?

All of these pics are from the same park. We checked out the flowers, the wishing well, the river, and the baby geese!! The boys love kids, so they made friends with every kid we saw. It was a great day, hope your day with your pups was awesome!!
