How hard is the search to find a cf husband/wife?

Judging from the poll on the recent post, i assume it’s harder for the sisters as there’s less cf men, but I also want to hear from the brothers too. And for the married couples out there how did you guys meet? Was it irl or an app? Because I swear irl I do not know anyone at all who even has a cf mindset 😭, so I just want some insights ig.

Being a SINK

Thought I'd give some insight! I'm working towards being a SINK instead of waiting around for someone to marry (Single Income No Kids). I've been saving to travel, buy whatever I need/want, and I'm starting to put money towards investing.

It's very much doable! It takes budgeting on certain things and prioritising what you actually need or want, but it's nice to start to work towards this kind of lifestyle :).

Is anyone else a current SINK or aiming to be one?

Can a marriage be structured as an independent relationship?

(M24) I’m wondering whether there are CF women out there, who would be interested in the idea of having a Nikah that is highly independent, and involves a lower level of commitment when compared to a traditional marriage

For example, imagine two adults who are married but still want to maintain very independent relationship such as:

They may choose to manage their own finances independently.
They don’t necessarily expect to spend most of their free time together.
They don’t necessarily want the traditional “husband and wife” roles.
They are sexually exclusive and faithful to each other because they are married.
They care about each other and want the relationship, but don’t want marriage to completely structure their lives around each other.
They may even live separately by default, but would meet each other and stay together whenever they want to.

Essentially, the idea would be “boyfriend/girlfriend lifestyle, but with a nikah.”

What are your thoughts?

Would most women consider me a red flag?

This may not be the most appropriate sub but I’m only asking because I’d imagine CF people are more likely than other demographics to relate to this.

I’m a CF guy in my mid20s, and I have a stable job, a good education, and a solid financial background. But one thing that’s often perceived as unusual or weird about me is the fact that I don’t like to be tied to a specific location.

This probably stems from the fact that I’m very much a travel person. I get bored and tired of a place quite easily, and I always look for the next novelty. As I’m typing this, I am planning to quit my job and travel full time. I know I’ll end up having to crawl back to finding a job once reality hits again. And I know many would call me stupid for throwing away a good job. But I just can’t stand a completely predictable routine of line. It’s completely uninteresting to me, at least not while I still have the youth in me.

I know this is a rather uncommon lifestyle, and I can understand why not many people would agree with it. Because they prefer certainty and decisiveness in their partner.

And always moving around sounds like the complete opposite of that. But to me, the freedom and liberty to make choices on a whim, and the uncertainty that comes with it, is where the excitement is.

Of course, I most likely will not do this lifestyle forever. I imagine once i’m in my 50’s I probably will appreciate the peace of having my own place to call home. But until then, am i unfit for marriage?
