r/ChristmasMusic

This will be so hard to describe. It is one instrument, a woodwind, and it plays a very old-fashioned 19th century sounding Christmas medley. Walgreens played it every year on their overhead Christmas music. It isn't a familiar melody (it isn't a standard carol).

That's all I have. I'll try ANY lead. Someone may know it as it is literally ONE instrument with nothing else.

Thanks in advance 🤞

My mom and I love it so much, but no matter how much I describe it on the internet or even to AI, it is not coming up as a suggestion!

It plays on the radio every year during the holidays, quite a bit actually I think. It has a futuristic-ish quality to it with electronic beats, but is overall a slow song. The female voice is singing “walkin’….” “Walkin’….” Repeatedly for good chunks of the song, with beats and bells in between. It’s either a cover of or samples Winter Wonderland. Hopefully this is alright to say and I’m sorry if not (it may not even be correct), but the female voice also sounds black if that helps at all. Honestly, it’s hard to tell if it came out 10 years ago or in the 90’s and was ahead of its time with the electronic vibe lol.

Any help would be so appreciated!!!

It's not a mainstream song. I believe I heard it as the opener of one of those Hallmark Christmas movies. Sung by a man. I wish I could humm it but the chorus goes like "december in new york, december in new york," then something like couples smiling everywhere, chestnuts roasting everywhere, then again "december in new york." A bit jazzy.

Please help. Either the song (probably impossible) or the name of the Hallmark movie
