Less colorful wrangler
Continuation of graphic design and composition studies. This time same scene with different color paletes and more contrast look. Thanks again to amazing @petertarka for inspiring.
A cinematic take on a timeless classic. Exploring the F-91WB through movement, light, and detail.
First time modeling and rendering a mechanical keyboard.
Covered the full pipeline from modeling to sound. Made in C4D and Redshift, composited in AE.
Where did RS Standard Material go?
Recently jumped back into C4D for a work project after a long break (like a year). I'm in Cinema 4D 2026.3.4 with Redshift 2026.8.1. So my question is... where did Redshift Standard Materials go? The default standard materials seems... different. For instance, under Emission, instead of color and weight, it's color and "radiance." Googling has gotten me nowhere so far, so any help is appreciated. I'm so lost, lol.
Edit: to be clear, I am in the Redshift renderer.

X-Particles to avoid obstacles?
Unfortunately in unable to upload a screenshot of my setup since it’s a work computer but I’m trying to create a scene where I have butterflies flying through a Forrest but avoid phasing through trees. My current setup is using octane scatter for the trees and my thought process for the butterflies are to use X-Particles to avoid the trees but came to xpAvoid doesn’t really acknowledge octane scatter. Any tips or advice for creating this type of scene would be great thanks!
What is the best approach to achieve this kind of Lens Dirt in C4D and Redshift?
I saw some lens dirt maps that are used in UE5 and I've been wondering how to achieve this look?
My first thought so far was create a glass panel in front of the camera (not too close) and apply imperfection maps on to it.
Matcaps in cinema4d ?
Hi guys, I been using cinema4d for a year now, and whenever I finishing modelling a model, I would like to check for shading issues which can be done in blender which is previously used which is super helpful to find out areas with shading issue and fix it quickly but I can't find anything similar to matcaps in cinema4d build in, is there any addons that I should consider, or is there any different ways to check for shading issues ?

"Caro" chairs presentation
I made a video for the presentation of the new Caro chair collection by Orangebox, a brand specialized in office design furniture.
The video explores the versatility of Caro through different configurations, colors, and environments. From workspaces to more collaborative and social areas, the collection adapts to different uses while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
I used C4D and Octane.
The music and sound FX are original, made by my colleague Alejandro Zoras (www.cabildeep.com).
Soon I will upload the entire project to Behance.

Thank you very much!
c4d should warn you before a param crashes it
Some params are straight up landmines. Slide a bit too far by mistake on the voxel size or num samples, and you're staring at your desktop, work gone.
Just an idea: a little ⚠️ next to params that can crash c4d. Nothing blocking, just a heads up to proceed with caution.

can you scale each respectively at the same time in one section?
if i scale now it treats it as one big thing but is there a way to scale all by a bit at the same time rather than doing it one by one
thanks
