RBD Simulation issue.

Hi guys! I am just experimenting with RBD simulation by doing some spec works! but I am facing problems while doing this simulation for example.

I have this scene the idea is to let the lego pieces fall inside the lego face shaped container. But the viewport response is very slow and lagging and sometimes even freezes the system so I had to restart my pc to fix it. I am not sure why it's lagging this much, I thought it might be because of the poly count so I reduced it to the maximum, and I am trying to get some close up renders with the very accurate collision happening, So I tried using triangle mesh as a collider shape but we know that this option is computational expensive, so I tried using convex hulls with "3 geometry accuracy" and this option is making this scene very long to compute and crashing and long or freezed caching time etc. I tried increasing the substeps and smoothing iterations and most of the simulation setting in general.

And to mention this simulation is working a bit better with "auto" option in collision shape, I could able to cache the simulation but it is collision is inaccurate and it still is calculating frame by frame(in viewport before caching).

So I tried with a sample scene with a high poly cube instead to check whether this still is a matter of poly count but the cube scene worked very well than this (I could able to see a smooth viewport playback to preview).

And FYI the cube scene is 100cm and the lego scene above is in 10cm(Which is in real world scale) simulation scene scale. Could this be the reason like it's not working well on smaller scale scenes?

Looking for an expert in color.

Hello there. I am a 3d motion graphic artist and I suck at deciding colors for the elements in the scene, I do know some rules like 60/30/10 rule and primary, secondary, accent colors. But having some doubts on deciding and verifying the perfect color palette for my renders, so I really need an expert at this subject and in urgent. I could able to do all other things in a decent level but not this 🥲! So I really need someone to talk to (who is interested to answer my doubts at your free time).

Thanks in advance!

Topology or edge flow doubt

Hello, I am some what an intermediate in 3d modelling and I am currently modelling something and I wanted to remove the unwanted edges so managed to create junctions and reduced the unwanted edges. This model is for production visualisation and I am planning to do some closeups too, so I am having some hard time reducing the edge flow and managed the even spacing of edge together. And I am doing all this like in a blind way.

Because, I am not sure what is the perfect way or how to validate a 3d model as a perfect model I like some rules like Edges shouldn't be sharp, keeping things simple so that we can edit it later easily, first to block out and then refining, and edge flow is necessary and should plan the edge flow based on the model. These are all I know I think am I missing something out ?

And I don't know whether it's a right think to make the junctions anywhere in a plain surface of the model because I am not sure I had to deform this model will this cause any shading issues ?

This is after I reduced most of the unwanted edges (looks clumsy not sure whether this is fine) and not sure will this be a good fit to deform without causing any issues.

And I am trying I best not to affect the boundary edges getting affected by this which might causes like uneven beveling right ?

This is before I start to reduce the edges

So guys what you think, I am clearly new to this topo flow, clearly not having an idea about how they should be used, So I need your help to master this!!
