You can now change library status from the context menus (tapping-and-holding covers). Moreover, in the search functionality of the Search and Discover screen you will now see you last few search terms in floating capsules above the keyboard, to give you quick access to your last few searches with a simple tap.

Unless there's some earth-shattering bug that requires an immediate patch, this is the last 1.x version. The next one up will be a big 2.0 release with the much anticipated Collections feature.

It looks like some or maybe all ( not sure) the tv shows release dates aren’t accurate to the actual release date. Not sure if I’m just having the issue. However, for example the tv show “From” says episode 6 is released on May 24 when actual it comes out May 31

While Apple is taking their sweet ass time to review Version 1.9.2, I already have 1.9.3 ready to ship 👀

There's a new Full Library shelf in the Home tab, where you will find both movies and shows together under the same screen. The individual navigation links for shows and movies are still there as usual on the shows/movies queues; this is just another option for when you want to see your full library at once.

There’s a new summary generated in the Stats screen; it uses on-device LLMs to generate the response, so no data leaving your phone to some external AI provider! It’s completely private and offline. Moreover, as with every other stat, you can choose where to place it or whether to completely hide it if you so wish.

Also in the Stats screen, now tapping on a favorite actor or genre brings up a sheet showing the movies/shows this person (or genre) is present in.

Lastly, you can now tap and hold on a person’s card to add it as favorite, so that you don’t have to navigate to the details screen just for this.

This update brings a lot of UI enhancements throughout the app, as well as a new screen dedicated to managing your tags.

Also, in the Feedback Board you can now search for specific words mentioned in the title or description of the feedback posts; that way you don't accidentally create a duplicate request.

Favorite actor stats have disappeared ??? iPad. They used to show up!

Tags are here! (Premium feature) You can now organize your library with the help of tags. Collections are coming up next!

Moreover, the shelves can now be organized by groups. You can group by favorite actors, tags, custom ratings, and genres.

- Trakt sync has been further improved, and the Premium-only lock has been lifted (completely forgot to remove the lock in the previous update, and as a result the engine wouldn’t start for non-Premium users. This has now been corrected).

- Added a new filter in the discovery feeds where you will only see movies/shows available in your selected favorite platforms, so that you can cut out the noise and focus only on things you can currently watch. (Premium feature)

- Added an option in the “Watching” shelf to completely hide the “Up To Date” section, or move it to appear below the “In Progress” section. (Personally, I like the default setup, but some of you were requesting this flexibility, so here it is).

Out of all the options, which one is your favorite Home layout? I was always a carousel guy, but the Large List layout with no filmstrip is my new favorite. I absolutely love how these big ass cards look 😍

Under my library shows/movies, can we have a filter for “Genre”?

I've added some larger calendar widgets for the iPad, and I've also switched to using backdrops over posters for the calendar on iPad (since these fit better the rectangular aspect ratio). The smaller variants continue to show posters as usual.
