Bike for with Cirqa for all the haters

Got the CIRQA today, used heart rate broadcast worked like a charm

Just received the CIRQA

Initially I thought it would be too big but I’d say it’s not too bad at all. Wrist size is 18cm for reference. Sadly I do feel if you have small wrists the sizing is not ideal - maybe there should have been big or small variant. Anyways so glad I can now wear my mechanical watches now on my left wrist and get all data I need. If I work out with this frequently I’m so going to need another band but the time is so long now!

Cirqa Sizing

I got my Cirqa delivered today, based on the online size comparison my recommended size was S/M, my wrist is ~170mm, but the L/XL was a more perfect fit for me. Also the band doesn’t feel as bulky as few people have described, I used to have a whoop and I would say its feels pretty similar. Definitely like it and my partner should be very happy seeing me without my ben10 sized Enduro 3 24/7 :)

Wrist band size

FYI for those debating strap sizing:

I bought the s/m band. The strap overlaps ~2 inches.

Wrist is 6.5” / 16.5 cm.

Order backed until mid September

Hey everyone, made my order last week on Garmin’s website on the 24th and nothing charged to my account, never got an estimated delivery date either and I contacted support asking for a delivery date and they said mid to late September. Which is honestly pretty crazy.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where else to buy the Cirqa? I’m in Las Vegas and haven’t found any at stores.

Edit: Cancelled my order with Garmin and ordered from Feed. They just shipped it to me.

Pulse Oxymeter and Sleep detection bugs, here we are

I’ve spotted the first bug hours after buying my Cirqa.

If you setup your pulse oximeter to when you sleep and you setup your sleeping hours between a range (like 22h to 6h) and you are not sleeping, it will nevertheless try to measure your oxygen no matter if you’re awake or not.

I was having dinner like 30 mins ago and you could see its red light trying to measure oxygen.

Just an FYI

Just a heads up to anyone who's order has not shipped yet.

I ordered Friday 7/24 at 5am with express shipping.

It said 1-3 days for shipping when I was ordering but apparently Garmin is now expecting a 5-8 week target date.

CIRQA: interest in/demand for Cirqa being underestimated?

I placed my order in the Garmin Shop in Germany straight after it was released, but nothing has been dispatched yet. My order confirmation already stated that dispatch would take place within 15–23 days. The website now says it will be dispatched in 3–5 weeks. MediaMarkt and Saturn have also already pushed back the expected dispatch date to October(!).

That’s crazy, has Garmin really misjudged demand that much and now has to produce more devices? What a shame...

So it looks as though I won’t be able to get hold of a Cirqa here in Germany any time soon.

3-5 Weeks

I was checking the status of my order for the Garmin Cirqa. I did not have an update on my purchase, so I called up Support, and they said, even though when I purchased it, it said 1 to 3 business working days, the actual shipping time is now 3 to 5 weeks in the UK. He asked me to reference adding another Cirqa to the checkout area to see the new estimated shipping times, which still says 2 to 3 weeks. I’m quite disappointed. I cancelled my WHOOP subscription in anticipation. I was receiving this within 1 to 3 business working days.

Wearing a Forerunner on the arm instead of getting the Cirqa ?

With the Cirqa being rather large, expensive for what it is and and lacking notifications for calls/texts/app notifications , I was wondering if anyone had tried wearing a Forerunner on their arm with a 10€ armband while wearing a mechanical during the day ?

Not that big

I can live with this size.
From all the posts regarding the size,i was expecting this thing to be huge.

it feels even more comfortable than the venu x1 and of course the Fenix 8pro(47mm)

For reference,185mm wrist circumference.

Daily wear

For people wondering about the ‘bulkiness’ here’s a closeup shop of the Circa at work. Fits perfectly under a shirt cuff (slim fitted). If I put my hand down you don’t see it. Same with typing etc.

How much charge does 15 mins get

So the Cirqa has arrived, but there are two nagging doubts in my mind before I open it.

- Accuracy (But I'll let the reviews over the next fortnight determine that one)

- Charging (Which is the question for today).

With my Apple Watch, Fitbit Air or UH Ring Air 15 mins whilst showering is enough for me. There are no stats for the Cirqa and I'm wondering if 15 mins a day would be enough to keep it topped up?

If the charging requires conscious charging time, then it's a non-starter for me right away.

Love my Cirqa.

Haven’t taken it off since Thursday or whatever day I got it.

Works great for when I want to wear a mechanical watch. The steps sync with my fenix. Exactly what I needed.

Photo for size reference next to my 51 mm fenix.

Anyone who have can't decide which screenless fitness tracker should buy: between all mejor trackers :

It's completely my own opinion . But whoop is not worth it bcz of the subpriction, polar loop is shit, amazefit helio strap pro is great if the Waist sensor works for normal workouts. I just feel like whoop is a scam, bcz 1st subscription, then their age matrix and strain doesn't have that much scientific backing research, all just mainly gimmick. if there is no subpriction, whoop is right now one of the best. But irregular heart ritham is something only fitbit air have.

My view : if money is not an issue but you hate subscriptions go for Garmin cirqa , but if you are on a budget but want the best value go for fitbit air :

amazefit helio strap pro only makes sense if the waist sensor works for normal workouts not just hyrox. If they do that in future firmware updates then go for it ..

Right now the best value device is fitbit air and Garmin cirqa....i made a detailed table about it. Check.

is cirqa worth it?

hi everyone, i used to be a whoop user. i let go of that because of the expensive subscription cost and changed to the fitbit air. glad i made the decision because it does what i need it to do + there's no need for a subscription. however, since cirqa has come out, i would say i'm one of the weirder ones that like how it looks.

in terms of accuracy, based on the quanitified scientist's fitbit air review, i would say that the standard for accuract of the fitbit air is up there. for those who have the cirqa, is there anything you could share about the data accuracy? would it be better than both the fitbit air and whoop?
