I have been using Garmin since 2020 Phoenix 6 and now the 8th, I bought the cirqa to use mechanical watches and be in the Garmin ecosystem, the cirqa I use it on the right wrist, but I have not been able to get used to it, even with some discomfort, if I put it on the left where I use the watch, it seems invisible, very comfortable.... Does this happen to anyone else? Suggestions?
I think I finally figured out what was killing my CIRQA's battery life.
The biggest change was disabling automatic activity detection and completely turning off Pulse Ox (SpO2).
When I had Pulse Ox enabled, my CIRQA was barely getting 6–7 days of battery life. After disabling it completely, along with automatic activity detection, I got almost 15 days on a single charge.
One thing to keep in mind: I only recorded activities 5 times during those 15 days. It was an unusually inactive couple of weeks because of my work schedule and other commitments, so I barely had time to exercise.
I'm curious to see how much of a difference the activity tracking itself makes.
Starting this week, I'm going to try doing one activity every day and see how long the battery lasts with Pulse Ox and automatic activity detection still disabled.
I'll update this post once I have some results.
I know I can take it off when I shower, but sometimes I forget, and even when I sweat during my runs this band stays wet for a long time afterwards. I’m assuming it’s the material it’s made out of. Anyone else have this issue? I’m excited to see what bands come out in the future.
My Cirqa from time to time just loses data despite me wearing it 24/7. I’m on the latest firmware 3.2.0. Also forced syncing multiple times with no luck of getting that data back.
Is it normal to have data disappear like that? How can I get it back?
I woke up this morning and was confused why my Cirqa’s alarm didn’t wake me up. After checking the Connect app, I realized my device had been offline since the evening prior.
After leaving it plugged in all morning and it still not working, I decided to reach out to Garmin’s customer service. After almost two hours of trial and error, we weren’t able to get it working. After they took my email they said they’d be reaching out to me but abruptly ended the call before I could ask any questions.
Does anyone know how long Garmin takes to issue replacements?
Overall, I was excited to try this product out after hearing nothing but good things about Garmin’s wearables. Aside from having some issues (many of which have been posted about by other users), this issue is setting me over the edge of regretting this purchase.
I have a fr970 and a cirqa. After recording a walk, it says my VO2 max updated, but the app shows nothing. This has been going on for a week. how can I view it?
