Lana Lang is just the best woman on Smallville she would have been the perfect wife for Clark no doubt.
I can’t imagine how devastated Clark and Lana are in the season 6 episode “Promise” and season 8 episode “Requiem”.
In “Promise”, Clark is so happy to hear that Lana isn’t going to go through with the wedding and marry Lex. He was going to propose to Lana at the barn where she promised to meet him. Unfortunately, Lionel ruined their plan and threatened to kill Clark if Lana doesn’t marry Lex. Lana sacrificed her happiness to be with Clark in order to save him. You can see how heartbroken Clark is when Lana tells him she had a change of heart and she loves Lex. Lana is equally saddened to tears over being forced to give up being with the person she loves and marry Lex.
In “Requiem”, Clark and Lana are so happy to finally be together without worrying about each other’s safety since both have superpowers. Lex again ruined their happiness by giving them the painful choice of having the kryptonite bomb destroy the city or have Lana absorb the kryptonite and be separated from Clark forever. Clark and Lana again sacrificed their happiness of being together in order to save Metropolis. That last kiss they shared is so sad and painful because both knew they are about to be separated forever. Lana had to console Clark by telling him she will always be with him by being in each other’s hearts.
I usually don’t get emotional over stories of separations but it really made me feel like tearing up at the end of both episodes. Lana is so beautiful and cute, I can feel Clark’s pain of losing Lana Lang. Their permanent separation is more painful than Romeo and Juliet’s. At least Romeo and Juliet left this world together but both Clark and Lana lived and are forever separated :(
I normally don't get into debates over who's sexiee than who because there's more to sex appeal than beauty alone, especially if we are just talking facial beauty. But this person specifically called out Kristin as not being voted sexier than her at a time when Smallville was still airing so I thought what the hey I'll put this up for comparison.
I'm not here to throw shade on this actreress, hell for all I know I'm not even picking her sexiest photos from Friday night lights, but I think its safe to say despite Kristin not typically doing the "sexy" roles/ scenes she holds her own against some of the best
