Class pass classes going up in credits?

Im on the cheapest class pass tier, 8 credits a month for $19. I know that gets practically nothing, but it works out for me because I use it to take 2 spin classes a month at the cyclebar near me for 4 credits each. (and then I just have a regular membership at my local gym). The spin classes have been a nice way to add more cardio.

But lately, I have not seen a single class listed for 4 credits anymore. It’s been like 2 weeks and still nothing. Does this mean class pass itself has raised the # of credits per class, or is the cyclebar studio the ones that raised the credits per class? So disappointing if it’s become more expensive.

Classes listed as “pending”

Does anyone else have this issue? I chatted customer service and they said the rosters haven’t synced with the studios. It’s 4 different classes at 4 different studios and all still say pending. I canceled a class for today because I didn’t want to show up if it still said pending. Customer service said they’d escalate the ticket to their tech team - but it’s been 24 hours and that still hasn’t resolved.

Drove to a ClassPass class only to be told I was never actually booked.

Booked an 7 p.m. class through ClassPass, got my reservation confirmed, credits were deducted, and it still showed under my Upcoming classes. A few hours later, the studio emailed me saying my reservation was canceled. I contacted ClassPass before driving there, and their support told me that since it was still showing in my Upcoming classes, I was still booked. I drove 20 minutes to the studio, only to be told I wasn’t on the roster because it was a fundraiser class that shouldn’t have been available to ClassPass members in the first place. ClassPass refunded my credits, apologized, acknowledged that I shouldn’t have been put in that situation, and gave me 3 courtesy credits.

I’m not upset with the support agent, they were actually really helpful. I’m just wondering if 3 courtesy credits seems fair for the inconvenience, or if you would’ve expected more. Also, how does a class that ClassPass members aren’t even eligible for end up being bookable in the app?

Is Barry’s removed from ClassPass?

I am getting a “currently unavailable, please check again later” for all Barry’s studios on ClassPass.
I can book other studios on ClassPass (e.g. hot yoga), but just not Barry’s!
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Unavailable?

Any idea on why a studio suddenly shows like this? I regularly go to this studio. All future dates are showing as currently unavailable

App issues

Anyone else having issues with class pass showing you have a class reservation in the class pass app but not giving you the confirmation email or showing in the business app. For me Club Pilates.

For reference I just did a class at my same studio today booked through class pass and I’ve been going to this same studio for a year.

Support seems to just be like some AI copy paste bullshit answers even when I ask to speak with a human.

How do you deal with…

…studios using ClassPass for lead generation and pushing you to join their gyms/programs?

I’m just on my free trial, but most of the studios I’ve been to so far have given me some sort of special treatment upon arrival (name tag, walkthrough when I arrive as a newcomer, special attention from the instructor, etc) and a pitch before I leave.

A few places have followed up with texted or emailed promos, as well.

They are (rightfully so, I suppose) using ClassPass as a way to get leads and new clients. But I’m not really interested in joining or committing to a studio.

How do you guys handle this, especially if you go to a studio multiple times through ClassPass?
I already feel too awkward to frequent the same place after they’ve pitched me.

Just curious. TIA!

Pilates studio owner messaged me asking me to stop using ClassPass, even though it’s cheaper for me. Would this put you off?

I’ve been attending a local Pilates studio for around 9 months. For the first 6 months I had a direct membership, but for the last 3 months I’ve been booking through ClassPass because it actually works out cheaper for me.
One of the main reasons I use ClassPass is the flexibility. I travel a lot for work, so I like being able to switch between different studios depending on where I am. Because of that, I’d never realistically get through 12 classes in 28 days at this one studio, so their membership just doesn’t fit my lifestyle.
Recently, the studio owner sent me a very friendly message saying how lovely it had been seeing me in class recently and how much they appreciated me being part of the community. They then suggested that if I planned to keep attending regularly, I should stop booking through ClassPass and sign up for one of their memberships (€120 every 28 days for 12 classes), saying it was better value and that there was “no pressure.”
The thing is for me, it isn’t better value. ClassPass is actually cheaper, and it gives me the flexibility I need. That made the message feel less like they were trying to help me save money and more like they were trying to get me off a platform that takes a commission.
I completely understand why studios prefer direct memberships, and I don’t begrudge them wanting to encourage people to book directly. But being contacted individually because of how I’m booking felt a bit uncomfortable, especially when the membership they’re recommending clearly doesn’t suit the way I use fitness studios.
I’m also not sure whether I should reply. Part of me wants to explain that ClassPass is cheaper for me and works around my work travel, but another part of me thinks it’s easier to just ignore the message and carry on booking how I normally do.
Would you respond? And would this message put you off, or is this just normal marketing from boutique Pilates studios?

Just finished trial - loved it. Best offers to upgrade?

Anyone have advice on how they run their marketing to capture people out of a trial?

I just finished (well I have 1 credit left that obvi I can’t use anywhere), and wondering if I should immediately upgrade my membership or if they’re going to send me an incentive to join/upgrade?

Also, anyone know what the referral benefit is for a friend joining in the US? Also, are there benefits for friends doing a trial?

Mindbody Class Bookings Sync Issues

For the past week or two any booking I make via ClassPass with a studio that uses Mindbody isn't syncing (so the studio doesn't set aside a spot for me, and doesn't know I booked, while CP shows all set on their side).

This includes studios like Club Pilates who have their own app but white label Mindbody.

I reached out to ClassPass support last week and they gaslit me, saying nobody else was experiencing this. The two studios I frequent said they had no clue what was going on. And then I reached out to ClassPass support again today and they admitted it's a very big issue for many users and they're "actively working on it."

So annoying and making it impossible to use my credits right now. I have to also doublecheck with the Mindbody app after each ClassPass signup which is a pain.

Best Class Pass Retention Offer?

I’m hoping to keep my ClassPass after this second 2 week trial but want to maximize my discount benefits. Is this the best course of action or is another option lurking just beyond?

ClassPass charged me for reactivation ‘trial’ but refused to give me the credits

Got an email from ClassPass to reactivate my ClassPass at promotional price of $1 for 14 days. I was like, okay why not? I installed back ClassPass, reactivated and paid $1.

After that, I was unable to book any classes because ClassPass said I was ineligible for any reactivation trial. Obviously, I felt that was ridiculous if not why would they send me the reactivation email for?

I contacted the help centre to enquire. They said I was actually not eligible for any reactivation trial and they would not honour it despite charging me, and by choosing to use their service, I agreed to their terms and conditions including agreeing to have my card charged.

They also tried to come up with some bullshit to say it was just an pre-authorisation charge and no actual money had been transacted. I showed them my bank statement and even ClassPass’s own “recent charge” statement to show the transaction was reflected. That was when they admitted the charge actually went through BUT as per their terms of use, I have allowed ClassPass to charge me even though they will not honour it.

Summary: $1 is an insignificant sum but I just feel it is such a sham. They sent me an email to ask if I wanted to reactivate at $1. After I did, they refused to honour it and said I have agreed to their T&C by agreeing to activate, meaning they are able to freely charge my card on their system without refund or honouring the advertisement as per their T&C.

The most funny part is after they refused to honour the reactivation trial and I told the help centre to terminate the ‘trial’ membership. Immediately after that, a pop-up came up on my ClassPass again to ask if I wanted to do the exact same reactivation trial for $1 again. LOL no idea if they’re just trolling me on purpose when I saw the pop-up.

“Upgrade to Paid Membership for Full Access to this Business”

I have a four class membership to Club Pilates and am using a ClassPass trial to see if I’ll be able to fully use an eight class Club Pilates membership before upgrading.

I’ve booked and taken one class at my studio using ClassPass. Now I see the message in the title for all the classes at my studio and can’t book them 😢

Is this normal? It seems that the ClassPass app noticed that I look at classes for my studio and has now restricted access to force me to upgrade to a paid ClassPass membership.

Thoughts? TIA

Class Pass Arizona Points

I’ve been using ClassPass for a month now and the classes I’ve been choosing range between 4-6 points. 6 if it’s a highly sought after weekend class. But I’m seeing these posts of classes costing some people like 14 credits?! Do they start raising the credits per class the longer you use? Others in Az, how many points is normal for a class for you?

Rock Salt Pilates

Hello- I'm thinking of supplementing my current workout with pilates as they opened up a studio near my home and I think signing up for classpass would be the way to go for me. Does anyone know how many credits per class? I saw someone asked the same question but that was a year ago. Not sure if they have increased the credits needed per class since then.

Thank you for your help.
