what the hell is this man genuinely what were they even thinking with this. did they not understand the backlash they got from the halaq redesign why are we doing this again (coming from someone who likes new halaq)

i love having a favourite ruined because its too "ugly" and needs to have its actually interesting design and insparations taken away from it because it NEEDS to appeal to the most obnoxious unlikable annoying puffwump player

why is it so mammalian now. why is it fluffy. why did they take away its cinnamon bun tail away and give it generic fuzzy tail that like 50 creaturrs already have. it is based off of turtles and snails why did they turn it into an entirely different animal????? atleast with stuff like halaq it was still the same animal and this is just a whole entire different species group

Why are taka players so annoying??? I get that flinging people can be fun, but it gets to a point. I truly think many people who play this creature are some of the dumbest players in the community.

Recently had a taka target me with flinging in oasis while the whole server was chill and they were constantly told to stop by both me and the players in oasis that were chatting with me. Then, when the taka refused to stop after a verbal warning in both VC and text chat (both of which they had access to and could see) we attacked him. This happened TWICE.

The taka had already been killed in oasis for this exact behavior, except they were flinging everyone in their vicinity at the time. It was the second time that it respawned after dying that it started targeting me with the flinging.

I was NOT part of the group that killed it the first time. I wasn’t even the same creature as I was the second time, so there was seemingly no reason for it to target me specifically when it came back.

I assume it started targeting me out of jealousy since after it died, I changed to play as my hallu and the people of oasis were kindly complimenting my skin for a while. It started fling me exclusively as soon as I was being surrounded by many of the oasis players that were asking me about my hallu skin. So there were plenty of players that I was literally surrounded by, but it chose to ignore everyone and only target me with the flinging? Yeah, ok.

The other people that were with me were telling it nicely to stop flinging the hallu(me) especially the ones with keen observer because they could see my HP getting real low from the stupid taka. The taka claimed it “wasn’t killing anybody” as if I was gonna let it get to that point before we decide to put it down (my hallu is ven 5 so I’m not really looking forward to using 3 revs over some loser taka).

So the people of oasis decide to kill it because the taka would just not stop. And then the taka player decided to play victim and cry about “why do people hate me” and “I didn’t kill anybody”.

I do not understand the entitlement of these players. I don’t care if the desire to fling doesn’t inherently kill anyone (even though I was very close to dying, and would have if I let it continue), if you fling people without asking and they attack you for it, you deserve it. People have NO right playing the victim card. If people don’t want to be flung and you fling them anyway, prepare for the consequences and stop complaining. I can’t believe this isn’t common sense.

Do we really need another shadow creature why can’t we have another artifact creature like oh my god it’s been so long why. It’s really cool but why..

im sorry but how do you miss the point/inspo of a concept so hard. cimmabu was originally a turtle/snail cinnamon roll beast that had no ears, a weirdly flat but adorable head and face, built very stoutly/short, etc. and now the redesign turns it into a ferret/squirrel with ears the size of its head, makes it taller and thinner, and whatever else. and the fur? the turtle snail thing is furred now? right...

and i dont even want to hear the "waaah it didnt look like a turtle snail wah." idc WHAT it looked like. the original inspiration of a design should be kept even throughout the redesign. things like the flat head, the shell, the lack of ears, the round eyes, the thicker extremities, and the goo theming all attribute to cimmabu's design inspirations. the only thing you can attribute to its original inspo on the redesign now is the cinnamon roll "shell" on its back.

dont get me wrong, it looks good. if this was cimmabu from the start, i wouldnt gaf. it truly isnt that deep but im just absolutely amazed at how it seems like twin atlas is just profitmaxxing even harder, making actually quite-unique AND cute low tier designs into stereotypical "cute fluffy mammal" designs. is it worth basically ditching its entire original inspiration/idea for a few more sales on the sweets gacha? really? 😭

no hate to the artist btw, retronintendo makes beautiful concepts and im sure these design choices werent wholly their decision.

I do think the new design is very cute but it's just not it. The og design looks like it was supposed to be a lizard or a turtle and now its just going to be another mammal for absolutely no reason. The new design would have been perfect for an actual sub species

So we all know the new monthly creature I for one love the new creature I don’t really care for damage I focus mainly on speed but anyways the one problem I have with it is that the teeths are connected to the eyes in matter of fact I hate when the modelers do that I mean I know it’s easier to do it that way (I guess) but I wish they could separate it and it’s the same with other creatures now I can’t name them now I just know that some creatures have the same problem and I try my best to work around with but I wish they could just separate them from each other.

kept getting mad at people for simply killing them and every single small reason.. i didnt even say anything after killing them, they just started blabbering at me and forcing me to respond to them.. also i was an isolun and they were poly when i killed em

Its not uncommon to find people whom are overall toxic. But i think ive just had the nastiest encounter in the longest time.

I went to chill in a small server, it was normal until i saw a baby creature getting attacked by your typical sweat. (We will call them teddy, not actual name i wont do that here.)

Obviously i try to save it, which i did. I was able to fend off the attackers for awhile.

But after that it was hard to keep chilling, since the attacks were more frequent now. I saw they were trying to kill another member in the server, so i try to team up with said player. (We will call bear)

They kill me, they kill me after i killed someone part of teddy's group, a common enemy btw. And then go on about "being too poor to afford revives" and actively putting me down for being "poor" (note i average around 20-25k mush, i dont like going below that. I have the revives)

Bear assumes im poor, probably because most of my slots dont have glowtail. I dont like using gt, i mostly care about my stats and not much about slot worth.

Whenever i switch to a creature of equal strength, bear hides in menu. So that when i try to switch back to a creature i WANT to play as, they take out a kora. But when i use my kora they hide. Teddy's group is irrelevant at this point.

Whats the reason someone needs to push other people down? Is it to feel better about themselves? I dont understand

I've given up for today because of how bad it is, but we need to all address the Pacedegon in the room: Nesting mutation hunting. Sometimes you get what you want quickly, and sometimes you spend literal days trying to get the mutation you want. Today I wanted to get myself a Bewitched Akanthos so it can go with my Bewitched Enthomen, but unfortunately the games system had it against me and decided to do this to me instead. But I know what this is all behind, it isnt luck, it isnt chances, its the fact that the devs have probably lowered the mutation chance so you're more likely to be tempted to buy the mutation boost. I see this pattern during every event, when an event isnt on I usually get the mutation I want within an hour or two, but this took me half my day. I started at 9:00 AM and now I've given up at 2:25 PM, and I was planning on nesting 40 times but its just too tedious so I gave up early. They should either do this thing when the longer you nest the more likely you are to get the mutation if you have a mutation plushie equipped, not a drastic change in chances, but a small chance raise of course, either that or literally speed up egg gestation time because it literally takes around 3 minutes with laying, eggshell, alt with eggshell and fully upgraded better thermal padding, and yes, I did max out mutation alcove too and for my last two egg harvests (When I hatch all 3 eggs at once) I used Octroma, which made the process even LONGER... Or even better, add both in as a QOL feature. But I know they wont, they're just gonna add in more and more creatures to try and fix it. It honestly just infuriates and tires me out.

By the way, NM means No Mutation, and as you can see I got no mutations very frequently.

And the fact these come out before the creatures and items release in the actual event shop sickens me.
