We were here 33 years ago and joked about the sweltering hot pool at our hotel. We came back and all the pools ?4 resorts) in Cocoa Beach are gross and hot. We just came from Captiva, spent a week in Orlando, and none of them were like this. We have spent lots of time in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and west palm beach. Why specifically does cocoa beach have such a hard time cooling their pool water? It’s so hot I don’t want to get in it and get pinkeye or another bacterial infection…gross!!! What’s up???

My son and I are gonna head to cocoa beach from maryland to relax. he wants to surf fish for smaller fish and also sharks .We fish alot here but never been surf fishing down there .i also would like to find a hotel close to the fishing spots.any help would be appreciated
