Advice on on a great pet sitting service.

We will be traveling out of town for a week in early February. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a local resident who could keep our 8 year old mini dachshund? She is perfectly house trained and incredibly gentle. Only time she gets animated is dinner/ treat time. She is very sweet. Stairs would be an issue at her age however. Looking for any first hand experiences. We could use an app but are hesitant for obvious reasons. She is a major part of our life.

Can someone explain why most everyone else has these smooth lines and I get these consistent little spikes and dips?

If you look closely you can see a lot of squiggly lines between beats. Yet when at the cardiologist they are not present. I remain perfectly still as possible. Any advice?

Can someone help explain why we are seeing more than 50% of the boats in the Mediterranean near Greece and Croatia all be catamarans versus traditional hulls.

Compared to a country like the coasts of the US it seems like a significantly greater percentage. Just trying to understand why and what advantages they have here.

I was shocked as went to get my Real ID yesterday in Hickory

I admit I was preparing myself for a multi hour process to finally get my Real ID. Signed up a week ago online to the earliest appointment. Had drive 45 mins to hickory from Mooresville. Not thrilled, but was ok with it.

My expectations were quite low walking in. However, the reality was it was one of the most professional and efficient run customer service operations I have ever experienced. A Fortune 500 company would have been proud.

Was greeted and pre-processed by a friendly smiling lady who double checked all my documentation, which took 5 mins from the time I walked in the door. As she put some kind of receipt on it my name was called to go to the window. 10 mins later I was walking out with my temp license and an actual smile on my face.

Everyone could not have been nicer.

We need your advice! This is currently happening.

Piedmont North Carolina on a large lake.

This 14-16 inch beauty crawled up into our yard this morning and dug a whole with her back legs. I am guessing to maybe lay eggs?

We have no idea what to do now? Should we call someone? Should we fence it off? It’s about 75 feet from the lake and across a curbed road.

If it’s eggs, how long till they hatch? Will she come and check on them? How do we help prevent critters from digging them up?

Or is not laying eggs at all?

And what kind of turtle is it?
