I wanted to apply for the sleep program (Polysomnographic tech) at Collin this next semester, I just saw this on the website. Has the program been discontinued or is it just closed for this term?

Nuclear Med Tech, Frisco campus

Anybody have any insight on the new Collin County Community College? I was doing some research and it looks like they are in progress of building a health facility in Frisco, Texas and one of the programs will be nuclear medicine tech. Just wandering when the completion will be and how soon you think applications will be accepted.

Warning: Check your book orders before buying from the campus bookstore

Just wanted to share my experience with the Plano campus bookstore so others don't make the same mistake.

I just paid $276 for four books ($69 each) for my summer course. It took 16 days for them to arrive, and when I opened the box, three of the four books were clearly used.

The worst part? I just realized these are rentals. I have to return them at the end of the semester despite paying nearly $280. I did a quick search online and found that I could have bought all four books to keep for less than what I paid to rent these.

Definitely double-check the "rental" vs "buy" status and compare prices online before you click order!
