Indication of cheating?

I had a statistical psychology exam today. It involved completing the entire exam on paper (day 1), and then submitting your written answers online through canvas on day 2 (multiple choice). I was thankful for the multiple choice as I didn’t have to type out my answers (saved me time to actually solve the problems)
2 students next to me were typing the WHOLE TIME, and the main reason i’m confused is because i didn’t have to type anything in order to submit the exam. I only needed the mouse (just clicking through the questions)

*Not once did I need to use a keyboard to solve ‘x=u+zm’
The point is, is that they were typing as if they were writing an essay and were done within 15-20mins (the first ones to complete)
I absolutely hate to assume cheating, but genuinely, WHY were 2 students, specifically the 2 students that are friends, crazily typing on an exam you don’t use the keyboard on?
(we’re allowed computer access because of certain data/ a z-score chart we follow)

What are your guys’ opinions as a professional?
I’m so genuinely just confused (i’m very nosy and just want to know what typing did)

Advice on bachelor degrees/ double majoring

Hii, so I am starting my sophomore year of community college this fall, currently majoring in psychology.

For reference, I’m 26 years old, old.. I know, but I was a hairstylist before and decided to change careers, therefore, I am very serious and pretty ocd about this aspect of my life.

I know a bachelor’s in psychology gets you nothing, no worries, I plan to continue on to graduate school immediately after undergrad for forensic psychology.

I just would love decent opportunity to get a job while working towards my masters.

I have an immense desire to work a psychological job in the criminal justice system. However, I’m considering a social work degree for job opportunity at a lower degree level. I also feel there’s always a need for a devoted, passionate social worker. Overall, after research and an open mind to other fields of work, I absolutely need to do something with criminology. I realize many things I desire require even a PsyD.

I am just so curious to what others have to say with their experience.

So far, I plan to get certifications and internships (currently desiring more criminal justice like ones) to better my resume after/during undergrad. If there’s more I should do, i’m always willing to take advice.

I really want to double major. For one, is because it’s hard to just decide on criminology or social work, and leave out psychology (the impatient part of me). I’m not sure if I want to forget about psychology until graduate school.

I’m willing to do an extra year of classes before I earn my BA’s. But I feel confident that these majors overlap.

How do I decide upon social work (I feel may be more job opportunities at an undergrad level) or criminology?

Is a minor is psychology enough? I have had a passion for psychology since I was 12.

I lean towards double majoring in criminology and psychology (w/ a minor & certifications & internships). What are your thoughts?

Sorry if this is too long!
