Saw Mr. Bones do a lore video for conquest months ago and thought it looked awesome, but had no one to play with. Then, for my birthday, a friend of mine a few hours away said he wanted a new hobby. I know he too thinks of the fall of the Roman Empire, so I told him about the Old Dominion and showed him the lore video.

Now I bought Weaver Courts and Dweghom first blood boxes and pre-ordered their reinforcement packs, and he bought Old Dominion and a religious faction of the hundred kingdoms he likes the lore of. He also bought me the collector's edition lore book for my birthday. Probably nobody else who plays near us in Maine, US, but it'll be awesome to have a friend to start out with.

Question: if my warlord is a scion of conquest and i give him the visionary upgrade in First Blood, do all affected units get the Cult of Conquest special rule?

If not, can you please explain this upgrade to me?

I saw some folks playing this as a casual game recently at a local tournament, and the monster models are what really caught my eye.

Are they any factions that do well running a lot of these models? I don't need to win tournaments, I just want to field a decent army filled with giant models.

I'm looking to buy a Thunder Chieftan soon, and many of the listings are for "artisan series."

Is there a non-artisan series thunder chieftan?

What are the differences between say City States army support pack from wave 4 vs wave 6? Does anyone own either? Are the rules written on the cards?

I find the descriptions and photos on the para bellum site to be really insufficient when it comes to these packs, they could at least show how does the deck box look like.

Could I get some feedback/advice is it's best to go all in on one sub-faction or have a mix of tempered focused/clans seems ok?
