Modification ideas
I have a '94 corrado which used to have the original 9A engine but now has the ABF from a mk3 golf gti (not the one in the picture) i am planning to give it keskin kt4 wheels. I also have better brakes and rear axle with the 5x100 lug pattern and i also have air ride (full set (plug&play)) any other ideas. (The engine is already modified and paired with a G60 transmission)
looking to get my 1990 G60 back on the road
I have a hopped-up G60 that I want to get back on the road for summer. It has a couple of problems, first a parasitic power drain that I can't find, and second - PO installed some sort of alarm/kill switch thing. There's a plastic box with wires all over the place velcro'd under the steering wheel, and a little toggle switch that you have to flip. I'm not even sure it works right, sometimes you flip the switch and turn the key and it starts, other times it wont even turn over.
Did G60s come with any kind of factory alarm/immobilizer, or is this 100% a bodge? I can trace wires and probably remove it, but I want to make sure I'm not going to run into something else in the ECU when I do that.
