Last Bottle is a website with daily offerings of wine bottles, usually between 30-70% off retail. Basically an outlet for wineries to promote their brands and push excess inventory.
They also had the four roses Private selection
Sale with a bottle of WNBA Slam Dunk in each case
Here is what they had at the grand opening. I am a bourbon drinker and the line moved fast - I was ~15th person through.
IMO this was the weakest grand opening of a Costco liquor store I have ever seen. Not one allocated bottle, no barrel/store picks, no special scotch or Japanese whiskey, nothing. They had a custom designed Cab Sav red whine bottle, a full pallet. That was it. Waiting in line hours in my hometown with hopes to get one cool bottle at MSRP - nothing.
24 x 11.2 fl oz (330ml) bottles
Very Limited Release
49.3% ABV (98.6 proof)
Picked up my bottle today. I haven't been seeing it in the app so maybe they just got it in.
Surprisingly good find. Lots of complexity. Heavy on the caramel. A bit of tobacco. Not bad value
Costco opened a new store in Otsego, MN.
Liquor line started around midnight. Decent line. The people waited for NOTHING!!! No drops, no deals, nothing special…NADA!!! Damn joke.
The liquor manger told people they “sent the allocations back to the whs because he wanted “regular customers” to have a shot”. Said he might the allocations back in 3 weeks or so!!!
Found this today at the Costco on Clybourn in Chicago
If you have to pick one bottle?
Old Fitz BIB. There were about 10 left today, but I think I got the last one with a bag. $43.99
