Does anyone else savor the absolute privacy of creating on a typewriter?

One thing I really enjoy about using a typewriter is the knowledge that whatever I'm writing only exists on that one page. There's no copy stored in computer memory, and no online record. Maybe I'm paranoid, but unless someone is standing behind me no one can access my output or use it for profit based on some terms of service I don't even remember agreeing to. I have absolute control over who I choose to share it with, or toss it in the fireplace and it's like it never existed.

Pollinating a plant with pollen from a clone of itself.

I've read about the techniques for creating two clones from one plant, using STS spray to induce pollen in one, and then applying that pollen to the second clone to produce feminized seeds. If one were to do this, are most commercially available strains stabilized enough that the offspring would be pretty consistent and similar to the parent? Can this be done again in subsequent generations?

Apologies if this question is answered a million times elsewhere, but I keep seeing conflicting answers. Thanks.

Is this a third conditional sentence?

"It's the same mentality that would have made someone vote for Jesse James for sheriff."

Young blue jay in the driveway.

I just noticed a young looking blue jay hopping around my mom's driveway. We sort of sort of surprised each other as I came around the car and it looked at me and started squawking. I knelt down to get a better look and another bird in a tree to my back started screaming at me. I assume that was mom. It looks about half the size of a regular jay with stubby wings, and was able to flap/fly a few feet. Should I do anything or just let it be? I suspect I should just give them space. Is there some way its mom can get it back up to the nest? I'm on Long Island and it's like >90° today. Thanks for any and all advice.

Replacement Feet?

I recently picked up this Royal Mariner cheap at an estate auction, and the rubber feet are long gone. As you can see from the photos the exposed screw heads would be murder for any surface the machine was put down on. What do you all generally use as replacements?
