i need help making a small UFO for a project!

hi yall, i hope i’m in the right place for this. so i’m working on a painting/3D piece for the end of the semester of my art elective.

i really love the idea of aliens abducting cows for some reason, it’s funny but it can also represent a lot (at least in my mind idk) like someone having a strange fascination of you which is kinda sweet???

anyway, the background of the painting is the flat canvas but i want the middle UFO and cow to be 3D. it would have a flat back, probably cardboard, that i could adhere to the canvas probably with a staple or nail glue.

i have an idea for the metal part and light and cow and whatnot, but i need help with the clear-ish green part with the alien in it.
where on earth can i find a clear, small, cuttable, half of an orb?? im probably not describing it right but i’m in distress.
this is due in 2 weeks (probably less now idk) and i have ANOTHER 2 PIECES TO DO that i have barely started.
i am so cooked HELP ME PLEASE 🙏🫰❤️‍🩹

Haven't cross stitched in a good 25+ years, having fun picking it back up ❤️

Question for y'all

I just found this sub and I'm wondering if any of you ever struggle with vision-based headaches while attempting to craft stoned? I want to craft high but EVERY time I get a headache. I can push it with lots of water and breaks. But frequent breaks, being stoned and having ADD make it really hard to finish one thing lol

I made a frog purse from beads

I really love frogs, so I wanted to create something that feels both wearable and a little absurd in the best way possible
This frog is fully handmade from thousands of tiny beads and works as a crossbody purse. The legs are flexible, the little pearl strap is removable, and every detail was stitched by hand one bead at a time
I wanted it to look like a glamorous swamp creature that accidentally became fashion
Honestly, it feels less like an accessory and more like a tiny frog companion that carries your essentials 🐸

I made a few pendants using broken gemstones. I really love this idea of a tree connecting the two pieces back together.

My biggest stained glass piece yet! It’s a gift for my bf for our two year anniversary 🥰. Progress pics included from sketch to finishing it with patina and a hanging chain

This is made using the Tiffany technique, a form of stained glass art. The pattern is completely designed by me, then I enlarged it and cut out the pieces from some thicker paper. After cutting and grinding the pieces they get wrapped in copper foil and then soldered together.

I’ve always loved frogs… and somehow it turned into this 🐸 (swipe for more)

These are all handmade crochet frog wallets I’ve been working on — each one has its own little personality

Some are simple, some have tiny flowers, some look a bit chaotic (in the best way)

They’re fully functional too — they fit cards, cash, and small everyday things

But honestly, they mostly exist to make people smile

Which one is your favorite?
