Where do I start with Onlyfans as a male content creator?

I've been things about becoming a Onlyfans creator to have an extra income on the side but to create films l've been dreaming of recreating. But I wanna ask some advice from other creators first just to have an idea when it comes to becoming a content creator.

Also would I need to have a good attractive body to impress people in my films or is an average chubby male body good enough?

Starting Over After Losing 22.1K Followers on Snapchat

TL;DR: I lost my 22.1k Snapchat followers, 200+ paying buyers, after relying almost entirely on Snapchat as my sales funnel. I do have an old Reddit with ~27k followers, but it’s tied to a posting method I no longer use (free nudes to as many subs as possible, B/G content, unedited low quality content) and I don’t wanna do that anymore so I’m debating whether to rebuild that brand or start completely fresh. I’m now trying to figure out if I should try to rebuild what I already had or if I should start over with a clean slate and fresh branding. If you’ve successfully rebuilt after losing one of your main platforms, I’d especially love advice on keeping vs changing your brand, transferring an old audience vs starting over, which platforms/traffic sources are worth prioritizing today, and the biggest mistakes you’d avoid if you could start over.

I’m posting this from a throwaway account because I don’t know if I want to use my old Reddit account and alert my fans that I’m getting active again, but I am willing to verify by any means necessary to prove that I am in fact a former/coming back content creator.

Hello everyone! I’m looking for advice from creators who have successfully rebuilt after losing a major platform/audience. I had 22.1k followers on Snapchat and over 200 paying buyers with years of buying history. Snapchat was essentially my entire sales funnel, my audience was loyal, high paying, and I did very well there. Unfortunately, I was permanently banned this weekend and I lost access to everything, including buyers I had just been working with. I learned a lesson the hard way that many people post here on this sub, NEVER build your entire business on one platform, especially Snapchat. I also learned the hard way that I wasn’t properly backing up my content. I thought that because my account was older I wouldn’t get in trouble, but I was wrong. I lost years of photos and videos that were only stored on Snapchat, so I’m now moving everything to external storage and building an actual physical backup system, as well as finding a new app with filters to record on.

The frustrating part is that I do have another established audience. My Reddit has around 27k followers, but I intentionally stopped promoting it years ago. My old Reddit strategy relied heavily on free nude content, and I eventually felt like I was constantly having to give more and more away for free or push myself into riskier content just to convince people to buy (outdoor and cheating content to name a few). After 4 years of doing that (2019-2022), I quit to focus on college and my mental health. After a few years away and some new diagnosises, I eventually came back to sex work with a completely different mindset and much stronger sense of self and self worth. I wanted to be more intentional about my brand, my boundaries, and the quality of my content. That’s when I started posting on my Snapchat again. And then Snapchat disappeared overnight. 😭

Now I’m stuck between rebuilding what I had or starting over fresh with a clean slate. On one hand, I would like to start over with a new name and identity because I have a lot of old content I’m no longer proud of. When I started at 18, I used a username and accounts that were connected to my real life identity (not my real name, but it was a username I used on basically every account I ever made on my own before starting sex work, so everyone in my real life knew) posted low quality/unpolished/unedited content, and made a lot of decisions that I wouldn’t make today at 25. I also used to do B/G content, which I no longer do and have no current interest in returning to, and I know that Reddit has only gotten more difficult to promote on over time by reading some of the posts on this sub. But I’m the other hand, I know I have something valuable:a recognizable brand name, loyal buyers, a genuine love for this work that keeps me coming back, and skills that only come from years of experience.

Right now I’m considering rebuilding across a few platforms, but things are very different from when I quit 4 years ago so I’m not sure what the best method is. I’ve been namely looking at Fansly, Playboy Club, Hidden and Stripchat for the paid content and Telegram, Instagram, TikTok as more of a sales funnel for reach, direct messages, and daily updates/teases. I’ve also considered reviving my old OnlyFans, especially since I have fans with their rebill on there and they accidentally got charged recently when I responded to a message asking about my Snapchat ban, so it’s the first time my account was “active” in years and many people got charged that rebill. But onlyfans has price limits that are too low with my current prices, as I used to charge $60 a month for my premium snap for 3-5 nude posts a day as well as customs that easily passed $100, and I’m unsure if I should just post less on my OF or just continue to leave the platform alone. I’m honestly overwhelmed by the number of choices and don’t want to make the same mistake of putting too much into one platform or giving away too much content for free or underpricing/overpricing myself and regretting it later on. So here’s a list of questions for anyone who has the experience and is willing to answer:

If you lost your biggest platform and had to rebuild, would you keep your existing name/brand or start completely fresh? Especially if said brand was similar to your real identity?

If you had an existing audience but wanted to raise the quality of your brand and leave your old content behind, would you try to migrate that audience or treat it as a true rebrand and start from scratch?

What platforms or traffic sources would you prioritize right now if you had no following, and which ones would you not waste time on?

What is the biggest mistake you made when rebuilding that you wish someone had warned you about?

If you could start all over again today, what would you do differently and why?

I’m especially interested in hearing from creators who have gone from losing everything and coming back even better than before, because I truly do believe that my content is higher quality and as such my comeback should theoretically be even better than my original run. Any advice and feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you for taking the time to read this giant wall of text lol!

I've been selling for almost a year and now I'm stuck. What works better than Reddit for attracting people to buy your content?

I've been selling for almost a year, and at first I made quite a bit, almost daily, using a currency exchange agent to receive payments from PayPal and Cash App since I'm from Venezuela. But after a while, I stopped making money despite posting in different groups. I feel like my profile here can't be my only option anymore, so please, could someone be so kind as to give me more options or alternatives to get more sales from real buyers?

Clips 4 sale referral ID?

Hey anyone got a referral ID for Clips4sale? 5 percent for a year of my earnings. I make lots of squirting stuff and a bunch of other things that I hope do well on that site. I am on manyvids already, just thought I might as well put some stuff up on there too. <3 Thanks! I need the ID before even signing up, I don't think I'd be able to add a referrer after I did.

What’s working for moving traffic from IG?

Obviously links in bio doesn’t work. I know everyone was going highlights and I had one story in my highlight with my link and woke up this morning with that as well as all my stories with links in my archive removed for “cybersecurity” reasons.

What’s everyone doing?

What do people mean when they say "don't post the good stuff to your wall"? Is this advice different between Fasly and OnlyFans?

I've been an adult content creator on and off for a very long time but the majority of that work was doing private sales and live camming so fansites are still fairly uncharted territory for me. As far as I can tell, on Fansly whenever you post it automatically goes to your wall. You can make other walls, but I always assumed that these are just for staying organised like grouping videos, pictures, solo, and couple content to specific walls for example.

When uploading content, you decide who will be able to see it, free for all, followers, subscribers, ppv, etc. I'm really confused about why you wouldn't put "the good stuff" on your wall when it's already up to you whether or not you want it to be for subscribers only or ppv? What difference does it make at that point whether it's on the wall or not? You can't even make new walls that are locked behind a pay wall, which is the only way this advice would make sense to me. I've tried to look into this before but all of the advice I see is related to OF and I assume things work a little differently on Fansly.

I'd really appreciate if someone could help me understand this!

RedGifs daily upload limit?

When did this start? I just went to upload a second video to RedGifs this morning and got a message saying daily upload limit reached and I need to verify to upload more. Is it just me?

how do you 'control' your fanbase.. or do you?

Everything we're on is rented. one ban and all reach is gone. IG has been especially strict lately (and thats actually the inspo behind this post) and posts like yesterdays clips4sale ban really make me nervous and wondering

I'm curious what other creators are actually doing about it, if anything.

Options I've been weighing:

  • Email list + own domain. the only thing you can truly own but im not sure if email is even appropriate for NSFW promo?
  • Telegram broadcast channel. this seems to be the default go-to... but still someone else's platform and subject to banning (although rare)
  • Disc. seems to be good for engagement but members can see each other and DM, which feels like handing them a free content trading floor and just amplify leaks
  • Something else?

what am i missing, is there something not here that's working for you?

P.S. if you dont have an answer but want to see answers pls spare an upvote to get some exposure to this convo thx

Banned from Clips4Sale after 10 years and 14,000 clips without a single warning — A serious warning about legacy catalogs and platform risks

I am sharing my experience as an urgent heads-up and case study for fellow creators, clip artists, and studio owners who still rely on Clips4Sale. After 10 years of consistent selling, over 14,000 approved clips, and generating tens of thousands of dollars in platform fees, my store was permanently nuked overnight with zero prior notice, strikes, or opportunity to remove flagged items. The most disheartening part of this entire situation is the complete lack of basic human decency and professional respect:

A decade of loyalty erased in seconds: After ten years of contributing directly to their platform and generating tens of thousands of dollars in fees, you are treated like a disposable number.

Support was completely useless: When I reached out asking for help, clarification, or a simple chance to address whatever the issue was, I received nothing but cold, robotic stonewalling. They cited vague "Terms of Service violations" and labeled a 10-year partner a "danger to their brand," refusing any dialogue.

Zero willingness to communicate: Even when an industry colleague stepped in to try and open a constructive conversation, the support team showed zero interest in understanding or resolving anything. There is no human review, no second chance, and no empathy for the years of work you poured into your store.

Key takeaways for independent creators:

Your catalog is never truly safe: Do not rely on platform goodwill or years of good standing. Download and maintain independent offline backups of every single clip and thumbnail.

Support will not protect you: When an automated sweep or internal policy change hits your store, customer service will not advocate for you or give you the benefit of the doubt.

Diversify immediately: Build your own direct audience and never let a third-party marketplace hold total power over your livelihood.

Has anyone else had a “couple” account message them on Fansly?

Hey girls, recently someone followed me on Fansly (no subscription), and they started messaging me. They said they’re a couple and that it’s the girl messaging me. I was okay with it, I like talking to women, so that wasn’t an issue for me. But then something clicked in my mind.
She was sending me pics of herself and engaging in a sexual conversation (again, I like sexting with women even for free 😭😭), but then I started getting a weird feeling. What if that’s not actually a girl, and it’s some man using another woman’s pictures to try to get free sexting?
It’s weird for me because I usually engage with girls on FetLife. My main audience on Fansly is men, and I’ve never had a woman message me there before.
So now I have this weird ick feeling, and I don’t know what to believe.

Adding/promoting link to IG

My main question is how long did you wait to add and promote your link to IG? Was there a certain milestone you hit before posting it to your story/highlights or did you add it as soon as you created page?

After a 2 year break from using IG to promote myself, I am back to using it again. I started a brand new account about a month ago now and started posting to it constantly about 1 1/2 week ago.

My reels are averaging roughly 1k+ views. I have netted around 250 followers. I have started posting day-to-day life stuff in the stories and have some photos/carousals are going up on the grid soon. Instagram says roughly 1k people have viewed my page as well.

I don’t want to jump right in with the link and get my page banned or lose traction because of it. But also I don’t want to wait too long that it feels off that I have one. I am curious how long others waited to start promoting their page since I have heard mixed about it. Any advice or personal experience?

Free to Paid page!

I know this has been addressed a few times on here. I have had an OF free page for 2 months I have surprisingly made not bad $$ for a side gig. I have formed what I thought a good relationship with the ones that buy PPV and streaming. So it rolled over and I have 2 paying Subs from 150 free.

I set up a new free page that funnels to my paid. None have funnelled over. This page has barely anything on it because it’s so fresh a few SFW pics and vids.

Advice if anyone has gone through this
Do I go back to free where I was making $$ from PPV streaming and sexting.

Keep it paid it’s only $7 and plug away and promoting and send out promos to expired subs.

Keep the free one as a funnel and put more effort into it.

I honestly just am sick of freeloader subs that sneak into my Stream trying to get a free show from someone else’s tips, no engagement on my polls or photos, no engagement to my messages.

Advice would be great from more experienced creators.

Creators; How do you deal with health woes?

So this is somewhat embarrassing, but I'm feeling all good, and suddenly, >!hemorroids!< strike. Leaving me feeling very body conscious.

How does everyone navigate this? I think I'll just have content focusing on other parts of my body, but it's really a kicker.

Have you had to navigate something similar? Doesn't have to be the same health condition either!

Universal release form?

Is there a universal or generic release form that can be used for all clip and subscription sites?

Previously, collaborations have been just „we’re both on OF and MV, so we don’t need release forms“

But the problem is I want to create my own website on MyMember .site and I need a release form, but don’t have any

Also, I started a PornHub, but can’t upload most of my stuff because not everyone is a PH creator

Even if I wanted to start a Fansly, I’d need a Fansly-specific release form, right?

How do you guys handle this?

Thanks in advance!

TLDR —> Is there ONE generic release form I can use with EVERY site, from clip sites to subscription sites to tube sites?

Starting TikTok + Twitter from absolute zero. What would you actually post??

I'm starting completely from scratch on TikTok and Twitter and I'm trying to figure out how to build an audience intentionally instead of just throwing random content at the algorithm.

The difficult part is that I don't show my face on TikTok, so I'm especially curious about what works for faceless creators. I have interests/content around dance, stretching, movement, lifestyle, etc., but I'm not sure which direction would be smartest if the goal is eventually attracting a very specific audience rather than just getting random views.

For people who have actually grown accounts from zero:

  1. What kind of content would you post during the first few weeks?
  2. How would you make TikTok understand what type of audience you want?
  3. Do hashtags/niches actually matter anymore?
  4. What works well for faceless TikToks?
  5. Would you focus on one very specific content style or test several things first?
  6. What would you post on Twitter/X besides promotional posts?
  7. Would you keep the TikTok content completely separate from the more promotional side?
  8. And realistically, how long did it take before you started getting consistent followers?

I'd especially love advice from people who started without an existing audience. What would you do differently if you had to build both accounts (or one of them) from zero today?

Any advice will help. I know there's a lot of questions, but if you answer one or give me any tip, it'll be helpful!!

Remove tattoos!

Hi there, I've been searching this sub and the whole web without any satisfactory result so I'm asking here again. FYI I have a paid version of capcut.

I want to automatically delete tattoos from photos (not videos for now). I don't find anything. Either it's online and the AI says "no no, my friend, no NSFW here", or it doesn't work.

Pokecut seemed cool but it deleted the tattoo.... and the genitals in the same time. LOL

Do you have any advice to remove tattoos on NSFW pictures with an app, on or offline?

Something simple would be ideal. Like, I ask "remove tattoos" and it does it. Or a simple brush, like the google pixel eraser on smartphone.

I don't want to spend 10mn per pic.

Thanks in advance

Should I address my videos being leaked or continue with just silently reporting them?

I run a telegram where I post my vids for a one time charge for lifetime access. Recently videos I’ve been posting in the group have been getting leaked. I’ve currently just been silently reporting them and getting it taken down.

Should I address the leaks or just continue with my reports

Which NSFW content platforms have a FYP page and internal marketing?

Hi! I know Onlyfans doesn't really have a FYP page or internal marketing, just with OF TV and the suggestions which is for a select few accounts. I've heard fansly has somewhat of a FYP and internal marketing where your account is shown to others on the platform. Any other ones?
