Why did so many fans have this reaction to Creature Commandos?
When Creature Commandos (specifically episode 3) aired, I saw so many fans absolutely livid that Weasel and Doctor Phosphorus brutalized Circe, despite her being the villain.
Usually, when there's a good scene of the villain getting beat up by the heroes the audience tends to cheer or at least be happy, but in this case people were absolutely furious. I genuinely felt like people were about to reach through the screen and start beating up Weasel themselves.
Why were people so protective and loving towards Circe in this series?
