1. Is it possible to make the national team young? It feels like I'm grinding in club and domestic cricket till I'm 26-27, which doesn't feel realistic for an all time great.

Step 1 — Download PCSX2

Download the stable version of PCSX2 for Windows. Avoid the nightly version unless you know what you’re doing.

Install it normally.

Step 2 — Setup BIOS

PCSX2 needs a PS2 BIOS file to run games.

There are YouTube tutorials that explain the BIOS setup properly, so just follow one carefully.

After getting the BIOS:

Open PCSX2

Setup BIOS folder

Complete first-time setup

Step 3 — Download Cricket 07 ISO

I used the Redump version from ROMsFun since it worked properly without issues.

Get:

Cricket 07 Ps2 ISO Redump version

Avoid random modified or heavily compressed ISOs.

Step 4 — Add the Game

Open PCSX2

Go to Settings → Game List

Add the folder where the ISO is stored

The game should now appear in the library.

Step 5 — Best Emulator Settings

Open Graphics settings in PCSX2 and:

Set graphics renderer to Automatic

Turn on fullscreen mode in emulator settings

Set resolution based on your PC performance (for example 720p or 1080p)

Higher resolutions make Cricket 07 look much sharper than the original PS2 version.

Step 6 — Controls

Go to:

Settings → Controllers

My preferred keyboard controls:

L1 → Right Shift

L2 → 2

R1 → 3

R2 → 4

Triangle → A

Cross → S

Circle → D

Square → W

Start → Enter

You can change them however you want.

Step 7 — Launch the Game

Double-click the game and start playing.

Every time I play online, I face the same people that bat halfway down the pitch and move all the way to the off side and just swing to the leg side. How do I bowl to that sort of setup?

I have hundreds of hours in both cricket 22 and 24 and one thing that always pissed me off was that in career mode, my batting partner would always play completely opposite to my innings. If I'm maintaining a high SR of 200+ then they deliberately play at <100 SR or just run a ball and vice versa.

This mostly happened with simulating. If I didn't skip to my player, they would play just fine. But that's the problem I'm not wasting my time watching an ai bat while waiting for my guy to get back on strike.

So did they fix this in 26 or no?

It's the same old game I used to play with my friends when I was a kid.

Used our hands, picked a number from 1 to 6.if the numbers were different it would be the same number runs to the batmen or if it's the same,then a wicket.try it out guys.

I’ve been playing Cricket 24 a lot off of the PlayStation plus. So I decided to go ahead and buy cricket 26. Im finding batting pretty challenging. In cricket 24, I used to be able to hit a lot on back foot even on hard setting. But in cricket 26, medium feels impossible, even easy is kinda hard? Anyone else feel the same?

Hey, does Cricket 26 support online 1v1 multiplayer between players in different countries on PC? Also, do I need any kind of subscription like PS Plus/Xbox Live or anything else to play online?
