THIS IS STONEPUNK!

Been building a sandbox OSR for people who enjoy the weirdness and raw energy of the Borg scene but want a more open-ended exploration experience.

STONEPUNK focuses heavily on:

  • surviving a strange world
  • uncovering ever stranger locations
  • faction-driven sandbox play
  • procedural encounters
  • long-form emergent campaigns

Less scripted adventure paths.
More dangerous exploration and player-driven stories.

The site finally launched today (wohooo!).

Still rough around the edges and deep in development, but Early Access is now open for anyone interested in following the project closely, accessing the beta manuscript, and helping support the experiment while it grows.

Sunken Pool Pulpy Paper Mill

From my solo delve art journal page I've had fun playing this one, a two monster two location but connected liminal space crawl.

First virtual and remote session

I downloaded all the assets free league has put up, going to use the lucky heist to play with 3 other friends and we're going to use discord.

Some of the issues I'm running into is map creation and asset collection. Anyone have any decent resources for tokens, music, etc? Going to use ogre because it seems simple enough but has anyone GM'd a remote game? Anything I should think of? Be wary of? It'll be my first time playing too and I'm going to approach this with a "yes and" lens but I feel like I'm forgetting something.

I put together a sort of "read sheet for dummies" and it's just a crude summary of the concepts and character creation with some pics from the rulebook. It's intent was to not overwhelm newcomers if this was their very first ttrpg.

So do my players just create their characters and show up? Then I brief them on the mission and we just dive in?

Anyone do anything extra to make it more fun?
