Was this fair or foul for Kelli to do in the first season?

I believe the sixth episode of where Kelli criticized ten cheerleaders for not writing a get-well card for the Bus driver who had a stroke. Was that fair or foul? I think it was foul for two reasons.

 1. She could have had the 10 ladies set aside and talk with them

 2. Jada did admit she didn't because she was busy with her jobs and I'm sure it was busy for all of them since they are/were required to have a job or be in college and I'm sure they only slept for a few hours.

Celebrities who wore the DCC uniform

All of these uniform threads got me to thinking. What celebrities have worn the iconic uniform? I can think of Lauren Tewes (The Love Boat) in the first movie, Nicole Swerzinger (spelling) of the pussycat dolls, Cheryl of DWTS, Ali Wentworth and of course, Dolly Parton wore her own variation. Can y'all think of anyone else?

Jada has a teeny hand tattoo…

I never noticed until now that Jada has a small hand tattoo. I think maybe the long cuffs along with the poms covered it. I wonder if they will continue to make Emily cover hers (it IS more elaborate but also it seems ridiculous in 2026 to have people to have to cover a tattoo). Has anyone noticed any other tattoos that show outside the uniform on DCC cheerleaders?

2022-2026 pre-DCC journeys: collegiate dance 📣🎓

some people wanted to see the histories of women who were on the squad during the earlier seasons, so i decided to just do 2 larger posts with everyone from the past 5 squads :) this is from the 2022 (season with no show) squad all the way to the current roster! 💙⭐️

here is everyone who danced in college!

some interesting facts: 86% of the DCC from 2022-2026 danced in college, while 79% danced on their school’s dance team. overall, collegiate pom is by far the most popular prior experience to a DCC career in the AS-era :)

for fun, i also wanted to see whether some states have more alumnae who made the team than others! turns out, 74% of the women over the past 5 years have went to college in 7 states: texas (ofc), arizona, california, alabama, louisiana, missouri, and nebraska!

pre-DCC journeys: professional dance & STDCC 🩰✨

here is the remaining women who were on the squad between 2022-2026! 18% of DCC participate in professional dance prior to making the team.

while dancing in the nba is doubly as popular as the nfl, sideline dance for either sport is the next-most-common pathway to DCC. also included in this post are the 5 women who made DCC with no collegiate or pro experience under their belt! (marissa g. did technically dance in school, but she unfortunately did not finish her program at AMDA, opting to instead audition virtually for DCC.)

** side note, Jessica did dance at UT austin!! she’s been noted on the first post and the revised STDCC graphic is below :)

Reece to be starring as Roxie Hart on Broadway

Reece announced this morning on CBS she is going to star as Roxie Hart. Mark Ballas congratulated her.

I'm guessing Reece is out on Dancing with the Stars

It starts on September 15th when Reece is Roxy Hart so she won't be on DWTS. I wonder if they could get Kleine or Megan or someone else. Yes I know but the show had pop stars in the past who did dancing.

re: rules 2 & 3

hey y’all! definitely understand all of the buzz and excitement about reece’s broadway debut, but i do want to draw everyone’s attention to rules 2 and 3 of the subreddit. comments questioning someone’s faith, implying that they are not a “real” member of their religion, or pointing out that you personally disagree with their actions in a religious context will not be left up. we have decided that conversations relating to religion and politics will be allowed when a.) they remain respectful, and b.) are directly related to public statements released by dcc relating to either of the two topics, but we want to make it clear that no one here has the right to police how others participate in their faith. the nature of religion is so personal and complex that it’s unfair for us to allow these comments to be left up if we’re trying to create a less disrespectful and hateful avenue for fans to converse. the way that you personally practice faith controls your actions and your actions alone, and YOU are in charge of what parts of faith you take or leave.

you can disagree with the political and/or religious views of any one of the DCC, but we’re not here to create a space for dogpiling or hatred in any way. keep all conversations respectful and constructive.

if your comment on either one of the reece posts has been deleted, it’s probably safe to assume it’s due to a violation outlined above. thank you so much to everyone who is trying to be respectful and have genuine, nuanced conversations about this. the goal is not to stifle conversation, but to make sure it remains respectful of all parties.

signed, an agnostic atheist! this is genuinely not personal, we would consider the comments disrespectful if any subreddit members directed them to others on here. the DCC deserve the same courtesy extended to them.

Kelli's attitude towards legacy girls is suspect.

I've just watched the series 2 episode where Dayton was cut, and I have feelings about it. From watching up to mid-season 2 so far, my gut feel is Kelli is good at her job because she is an excellent at getting her way, through traits like backroom manoeuvring, constantly picking at girls in a subjective manner during training, so that a narrative builds within the girls and wider DCC community of who is 'in' and who is 'out'. Having the group leaders also decide on the final 36 before cutting Dayton felt highly performative to my mind, and of course they did exactly what she wanted because they have been conditioned to do so. They were scared out of their wits! How is that not a red flag?

I want so bad to believe that Kelli and Judy find the process as difficult as they appear to but, I I've so far felt that the methods to select girls is opaque, biased and difficult to follow, so I'm looking on this with some suspicion.

new gameday earrings 👀✨

jenna is stunning and i love that the earrings are uniform across the women now! i always remember when reece and chandi had to switch during cameos and wondered why it wasn’t already standardized 😅
