Kelli joining brand endorsements? Did I miss something?
I will say Lola Blankets are the best!! Her IG story was pretty cringe though

Did you notice DCC cheerleaders wearing perfume?
I know I know, we’re all sick of the Faith posts and think we should start a Faith mega thread, but…hear me out I think Kelli was hard on Faith because Faith wasn’t her pick, and honestly it’s kinda makes sense. Now I’m not saying that her treatment of Faith was fair, but I see a lot of posts being like oh why is she so harsh on her etc
Think about any environment where someone gets brought in through connections rather than being chosen outright. I work in a company where we have summer associates brought in every summer, and there is always a one summer associate or a few who got the job through family or who came in via a higher-up’s push. And I always always see my colleagues treating these associates in a much tougher and harsher manner than the other associates. Not always consciously. Now obviously I’m not saying that this is correct or that this is fair, but when you don’t believe someone earned their spot, you hold them to a harsher standard, and you’re quicker to critique (tbh that’s just human nature).
Even the whole hair debacle with Kelli framing it as “have you considered tying it back?”, or she said something along those lines, basically as if it was Kelli’s suggestion, but from Faith’s reaction, and everything we know about her (also the photo she submitted) I have a feeling that her team was pushing for the ponytail specifically. I think Kelli probably phrase it as a suggestion just to save face.
I really LOVE Faith, but I don't get how she made the team, considering that in seven episodes of AS3 we saw nothing but criticism from Kelly and Judy—especially during training camp. I've read that many people think it was CJ's call, but are we sure she has enough power to override everyone else's opinion? I don't know, it's strange.
Sad Savanna didn't make it
Itruly feel she deserved it. She is so good and has dedicated so much time and work to it, it was disappointing to me when she didn't make it
watching S3 and all the comments makes me pause...they're talented and work hard...social is so brutal
I’m really hoping to see Marissa and AK. Should’ve been Karley and Marissa 🥲 but AK is literally fire. I know everyone is pushing for Sophy, and i wouldn’t mind her as point but i feel like AK really wants it this season and Sophy is less interested tbh
What did you all think about the live auditions? As a viewer, I thought it was a little awkward.
A “proud Latina” who is a MAGA Trumper and who only capitalizes on her heritage when it’s convenient. Mira aquí vieja pendeja racista, stop wearing the Mexico soccer jersey for the World Cup when you vote in favor of policies that hurt “tu gente.” Ugh!
I seriously questioned why she was cut. The season did not really focus on her, it focused on the other rookies, so we really didn't get to learn much about her.
They really did not give much of a reason as to why she was cut. I am wondering what the heck happened! Or if they just HAD to cut, and for whatever reason, they chose to cut her over someone else.
A few things I've noticed from watching especially with the latest season has been the backlash a few of the girls have gotten regarding what they have posted (past and present) on social media. As if 18 year old Faith posing with alcohol bottles would ever think it would come back to haunt her later on! Or young Ava making tiktoks with her friends would come across as immature when tiktoks are purely dancing and having fun.
Where they seem to be so restricted to what they can share on their platforms I feel a lot of the girls social media pages lack authenticity.
I personally would love to see "drinks with the girls" nights, fun dance tiktoks, emotional turmoils they have faced, drama. I feel there is such a pressure to act as a proper lady that these are impossible expectations.
Tbh watching Reece depart was sad for me, the comment Judy made about “you’ve had a lot of doors open for you” was so out of place. Almost like they spited her for leaving. Not cool!
Savannah - Exactly as they said, firecracker. Something special about her and her energy.
Emily - Has a unique look and vibe from everyone but still fits DCC. I would LOVE if we got to see her ace her dances. Netflix focused more on her screw ups but then the coaches would make comments about how she still has really beautiful movements. So annoyed they did not feature more of the moments when she was excelling.
Jenna - Just so beautiful, unique and DRIVEN! I hope she can come back for a 3rd try, but I'm sure it will be more competitive (more women there for the wrong reasons), which is also annoying!
EDIT: I didn't know Jenna made it!! WOOHOO! I googled it and thought she was cut.
I always thought this. It's no question that this generation is very strong and bold. This generation is not as hestitant to address concerns as much as prior generations have been. It's shown in work ethics mostly, things that were allowed decades ago in coaching and work environments, are things that are in line for being fired, sued and or rightfully reported today.
I remember when S1 of AS came out, old clips of MTT went viral and Kelli was under a LOT of fire. Not sure if people remember, but specifically the clips of her saying that one girl looked like a stripper, were making rounds and Kelli looked really bad, I think that was when she really tried to show more "positive" face.
But when the girls talk about how Kelli & Judi aren't very positive, not making the girls feel appreciated or they aren't showing much affection. Do you guys think Kelli & Judi are viewing them as "less then"? Like when old people complain about this generation, they view us as soft because we're complaining about things they put up with?
I think they are mostly only putting up with it because this is such a VOCAL group of women, so they're more hesitant to ignore them because they could risk losing everyone. Which, I can imagine wouldn't be too big of a problem because they get so many auditions, but the "Veteran" expertise cannot be replaced until those rookies get at least 2 years under their belt.
I mean, I think Jada is very iconic because I don't think they've had a cheerleader so vocal, motivated & empowering enough to rally everyone up to actually cause a change.
I was getting that impression from them especially with the pay raise conversation. Judi saying "Yeah, I had a full-time job and I was a cheerleader" - It just came off as "If I could do it, you should too" more than her telling a story about relating to their struggles.
Granted it has to be alum. I'm thinking Reece and/or Kleine. Reece said she would like to be on DWTS and Kleine would be entertaining. I rather have them than Mormon Wives.
After watching years and years of Kelli I just think she is not a kind person and her lack of heart is just sad. The only time she laughs really hard is when it has to do with her and her image, but never enjoying the cheerleaders or being very genuine with them. She is definitely of the generation where if you are in charge of people you need them to bow down to you and they must be treated as less than or smaller. I hate the comments she makes about girls and their bodies when every single one of them are literally the most beautiful and talented girls in the nation. So often I just think what she says is unnecessary. I was happy to see her regret what she did to Kleine at the end. I hate that she makes it about “timing” when really it’s always been about her pride. I think it’s time DCC replaced Kelli. I guarantee all of the DCC would love for someone kinder and less harsh to run the team because I think her lack of empathy and connection affects all of the girls and you can see it. Judy to me is way more neutral and kind. I think people who retire at 5 years deserve so much praise and gratitude for their hard work and dedication over the years. Kelli is so strange about the hanging up of the uniform she almost takes it as a slap to the face but then also is happy to have another spot. When she commented on Reece being grateful and how important that was to her….I was like?!? What about your gratitude for all SHE brought to DCC. Most everyone’s favorite was her and they should have said something kind instead of being as lifeless as they were. Idk maybe that’s just me… I’d love to see someone new in that position.
I don’t care what anyone says the shot of Shelly bawling her eyes out when Dayton didn’t make it breaks my heart to pieces
For those of you that do so, it’s clear that you have never had someone show empathy towards you in your life. if you are projecting hateful comments on these cheerleaders.
These are people, women, girls, who are giving it their all to perform.
And what are you doing?
I searched the community and I didn’t see any posts asking this question outright. I’ve definitely seen some buzz in comments on different posts about them retiring or being replaced.
So let’s play Fantasy DCC Hiring! You have Charlotte Jones in front of you. She hands each of us three stickers and she asks us to vote on the pool to hire from.
Which Allstars get your votes??
This is one of Faith's audition videos which was featured on AS3. This dance reel is absolutely fabulous! 🤩
