Elle Casting!!

I jokingly suggested Alanna Ubach when talking to a friend and now it’s the only person I can imagine for this role. A little Naomi mixed with Susan 😘

Paul Giamatti for Quasar

Okay hear me out, this guys has range! Great comedy but can be sleazy and taken seriously.

Mordecai should be played by a different actor every floor.

Can you imagine how fun that would be? We would all get a giggle at the start of every floor.

Because the contracts are shorter thus less expensive, a couple of big name actors could be shoved in there .

And danny devito should voice a horrible little puppet on floor 6.

So, Masters of the Universe...

Tagged this as production talk because...I guess?

Anyway, I was watching the new Masters of the Universe movie last night, which good enough, fun time, not ground breaking, but worth the minutes I looked at it.

ANYWAY, during one of the fight scenes, the Adam/He-Man used an enemy as a club, ie. a pretty standard OP beat em up trope, and the way they choreographed it was PERFECT for DCC. The enemy was conscious and reacting to the fact that he was being used as a human baseball bat, and I loved it. I think that tone for some of the more unimportant fights would be PERFECT for the series, and it's all choreography and practical makeup, basically, doable on a smaller budget.

That's pretty much it. Yadda yadda, Ted talk and what not.

The Perfect Psychotic AI

I had an interesting two comment conversation yesterday. Daran Norris is an incredible voice actor and would absolutely nail it.

Please DON’T cast this guy as Mordecai how many you agree with me

For the record, I don’t hate Seth Green. I’m pretty sure he’ll do great in other roles. But I think he’s a very poor choice for Mordecai.

My idea for casting for Frank Q

I like Bill Burr and I think he’d be great as Frank Q, but I’m not too confident at that decision. Someone has a better idea for Frank Q. I’d love the hear them

William Franklyn-Miller as Carl. I said what I said!

Taron is a great option, maybe the best! But he’s a bit too old for Carl, especially considering the series has potential to run 9+ seasons.

After watching Young Washington, William Franklyn-Miller should be thrown a bone imo. He is only 22, and of average build. Which will allow him to physically grow into the role, just as Carl does in the books. He is also 6’4”, and the boy can act. Most importantly, he is a breath of fresh air (and youth) to the usual 6.5 actors we see over and over in Hollywood.

We shouldn't want any famous actor in the show. Hire Broadway no name talent. Detailed reasons below.

MONEY! FAMOUS ACTORS COST A SHIT TON OF MONEY. WE NEED MONEY FOR CGI PRINCESS DONUT. WE NEED ALL OF IT. SHE'S THE STAR OF THE SHOW.

Fancast for Epitome Noflex

not sure if this one’s been done yet, but this is who I see as Tagg’s hot mom

Edit: this is clearly unrealistic dt budget and was meant to be a joke

What role would you give Seth McFarlane

I’ve heard lots of loathing that Seth will always cast himself in his TV shows. So let’s assume he’s going to do it. What role could he take that you’d be happy with. My personal vote is Quasar.
