I was able to donate and even win a few bids at Mental Con 2026!

I’ll be showcasing each one instead of a montage because of how incredible each artwork is.

Man of Steel commission!

I recently had @artofm2 (Insta) sketch out an idea I had for a Superman sketch card since I don’t have a lot of Superman sketch cards. I think it came out great!🙌🏼

First ever DC Annual blaster!

I bought a Superman box a few weeks ago and loved the cards, I stopped at Target on the way home from a card show Sunday and they had one box of the Annual DC cards left behind the customer service desk. Bound by the laws of the last box and being in an out-of-town store, I had to pick it up. Of course I pulled a Wonder Woman auto.

Now I know this is the classic trick of the devil to get me addicted to another type of collectible card but I genuinely enjoy these DC cards. It doesn't seem that they're that popular in the general card market but if we are judging by how cool the cards look and how nostalgic and popular the characters are, these cards should be going crazy.

I like the black and white sketch looking inserts and the refractors too. The base isn't bad but depends on the art, I have mixed feelings about these.

The one criticism I have is the QC isn't great, either in this box or the Superman one I bought. Many of the cards in this box seem to have some kind of bent corner or whitening, and a few of em are pretty banged up.

Either way, figured I'd share my out-of-town and last box pull with y'all!

23-24 DC Annual Yellow Printing Plate

I was watching some videos of DC Annual rips today, so I decided to pick up a box and I pulled my first 1/1 card - Yellow Printing Plate 88 of The Flash (Avery Ho)!

Any idea what this is worth?

I can’t find the value of this card, no matter where I look. I’ve used all the different apps, and I don’t trust Google for anybody who can’t see it’s #230/299

Newbie questions

Hi all! I’m not new to card collecting I’m very active in the Formula 1 card world, but today I took my toddler to Target, and he saw a Superman box and wanted to rip something. We’ve never opened this product before, but with F1 blasters now pushing $140+, we don’t rip nearly as much as we used to, so I figured, why not?

That said, I know absolutely nothing about Superman cards or their values. Before I let my 3-year-old go wild with them, I wanted to get some input from the community. Are any of these worth setting aside for him to appreciate when he’s older, or should we just enjoy them and let him have fun with them?

Any advice for a newcomer to the Superman card world would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

4 Boxes of 2025 SKYBOX METAL UNIVERSE BATMAN

Hello 👋
I opened Upper Deck products for the first time and had a blast doing it.
Can anyone tell me who the artist of the sketch card is?

What is the best way to track your collection?

I'm completely new to collecting Fleer cards and I'm shocked that there isn't an interactive checklist or app or something that makes tracking my collection easier. Is my only option really a massive burdensome spreadsheet?
