I’ve been eyeing these at my local shop for some time and finally snagged them. The art is awesome. Definitely enjoyed tearing into these! Couple lenticulars, a 1/1 sketch, and some of my other favorites.
Incredible opportunity to get original sketch art and a remark from Vince Locke today. Also lucky enough to snag one from Rick Veitch a month or so ago!

Probably a 5 year hunt for the right copy. Obviously budget weighing most heavily as this one can get up there.
Found the perfect copy for me, at the right time, and finally got it in hand today. It’s almost bittersweet for the search to come to an end.

I’ve been all over eBay, auction sites, and local shops to find the right copy of Batman #227 for me. Very close to purchasing a raw VF/VF-, but thought I’d post here as a final shot at finding a slightly better copy. Very interested in your VF++ish if you’d like to discuss a deal.

My 2 biggest problems with collecting- 1. I want all of the things; 1/4 scale, 1/10 scale, comics, TPBs, omnibuses, toys, Funkos, art/posters. Can’t help myself. 2. Between kids, pets, limited space, etc- I feel like I’m years away from properly displaying it all😩😆

Did anyone else preorder the 40th Anniversary Golden Girls end of last summer? I can’t pull up the original listing on their website anymore but I thought ship date was Q1 26. I don’t see them anywhere on the 2026 preorder update list.
