Is this legit?
Found on PanelBoundComics. I've been shopping for the Alan Moore box set from 2021 (2nd image) and came across the first image. I've only found it on one other website, Golden Apple comics. No sign of it anywhere else. Opinions? Do you think it's safe to buy?
Scott Snyder mentions he's gotten "amazing pitches" for Absolute Swamp Thing, Constantine, and Aquaman for the Absolute Universe
Maybe this is what Riccardo Federici is working on? (for those that don't know, he's been posting comic panels on his Instagram of an unannounced Swamp Thing comic)

I went with this figure over the McFarlane figure, I liked that it had more of the Alan Moore era look. I’m tempted to take him out of the box, but I’m nervous doing it since it’s been sealed for so long. What should I do?

Thoughts on Volume 4?
I was out and about this weekend and found a whack of Volume 4 books at a book reseller.
I keep seeing the covers for these posted on social media and they look great but I have not read any of Volume 4.
They were cheap enough so I took a chance.
And I also picked up that Giant Sized for the heck of it while I was at it.
Thoughts on Volume 4? I’m hoping to get into these issues in the coming weeks👍
Going Through a Swamp Thing Collection
Have a large-ish collection of Swamp Thing comics in my possession, about 140 or so comics from the 80’s and early 90’s. I was wondering if there’s anything particularly rare or valuable I should keep an eye out for? I have so much physical media already that I have to sell some of it, but I wanted to see if there’s certain comics that are worth saving (or selling at a fair price).
I’ll attach some pictures here but I don’t want to spam-post screenshots, this is just a small number of comics from the collection.
Thought I would show off my collection, aside from a couple ram v issues this is to my knowledge every swamp thing issue plus all appearances
Not very exciting pictures unfortunately but maybe one day I’ll get them all out and take cover pics, bonus pic of the vertigo cards
Just met Yanick Paquette at my local con
Got few signatures, a blank cover and also some original art from him
He was the best! Super down to earth and very nice to talk to
It was such a pleasure meeting him
At Last
Got to meet Vince for the second time and finally got 89 directly from him, which he then signed and sketched. He was a excited about this release as we were haha.
Pure poetry and emotion
Marked as a spoiler, just in case. I read this issue for the first time this week and, after the battle of Gotham, I was beyond moved. The whole arc is incredible but this issue is pure perfection. The layers of facing oneself, grasping reality, escapism….just incredible. I recognize The Anatomy Lesson was a major change and is celebrated appropriately. But I honestly can’t believe this issue isn’t talked about more often. My wife doesn’t really read comics because she still thinks they’re kids stories. She knows nothing about Swamp Thing. I gave her some context and read this issue to her. She was in tears almost the whole time and now wants to read the whole series.
Love Moore, but it's been really cool to watch this character grow without him.
Are the Morrison/Millar issues worth reading?
I have read the original run from the Wein years all the way to the end of the Collins era. My favorite eras by far were the Moore/Totleben/Bissete, Collins and Wein eras. Do you think I'll like the Morrison/Millar issues? They aren't Dark Age superhero crap, are they? They came out around the time that things got really bad in American comics.
Rick Veitch Vol 1
About to start Volume 1. I remember people mentioning it being odd Hellblazer issue 4 and 5 are in this, but I'm only getting around to the book now. Is there a reason those two issues are here or can I jump them?
Does Alan Moore's 'Saga of the Swamp Thing' contain any graphic nudity?
My 14 year old was asking if he could read this book but I know Alan Moore and Swamp Thing can be generally mature. Thoughts?
Other Comics Besides The Alan Moore Saga
I've read the Moore Saga a dozen times and not sure which others to check out or where to start.
