Hydroquinone Sourcing and Results

Hi all,

32 male from Canada, have some stubborn leftover pigmentation on my back for many years now.

I am reading that HQ can work well for that.

  1. Does anyone have any recommendations for sources?
  2. Has anyone used it on body with successful results and if so from where and what concentration?

From my research I'm reading that 4-6% for back skin, others say higher and that the 4-6% doesn't work. I found the usual ADC from india suppliers but reading mixed results about efficacy and the strong smell.

Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

Cheekbone filler technique

I did around 2ml each side maybe a little more. Cheekbones were completely flat before and now are projected and wider. Doesn’t look ucanny valley in normal lighting just showing how it looks like bone instead of fillers.

I marked out places to avoid like artery near undereye by feeling heartbeat and other places by feeling different parts of the zygomatic arch. I then made 3 points half an inch apart pushed until i felt bone, pushed again to see if it moved or not, then injected.

Jawline Neck Help

What can I do to fix this area? I already have added filler to the chin and jawline and toxed the platysmal bands. It looks better but not as good as I want. I do have some fat under the chin. I did do Kybella. Should I try to dissolve further? Or is this neck lift territory? Or facetite? Face rejuvenation?

Tech neck line treatments?

I have fairly deep tech neck bands on my neck and despite researching, I am unsure what the best treatment option is for easy of treatment and recovery, and longevity. I’m open to Botox, filler, devices, topicals, injectables, etc.

I’ve tried tret and retinol, silicone patches/scar tape, TCA and Jessner’s peels, microneedled every 4 weeks for the past 3 months, and have been using NIR red and blue light therapy, but it seems like I need deeper stimulation to actually fill the lines.

I’m still new to my DIY journey — I lurked in the sub for about 8 months before making this burner account and actually joining. So far, I’ve done two rounds of meso’d Kiara Reju over the past 3 weeks, with another planned for next week, but I know that’s more hydration than camouflaging/filling the lines.

I recently lost 20ish lbs and am planning to lose another 15-20, so the lines are more noticeable than they used to be. I’m also considering a bit of fat dissolver to define my jawline a bit where the little pocket of fat is under my chin, but once I do that, I know that might make the lines even more obvious, especially to me.

My neck’s skin laxity is actually great — I don’t have any significant crepiness or loose skin, despite the weight loss. I’m almost 37, and on HRT for perimenopause, so I’m sure the extra estrogen is helping.

Have you DIYed your deep tech lines? What did you use? What do you think would make the biggest difference in making me feel less insecure about them?

First time lip filler diy

I swore I would never get filler - the permanent nature of it scares me and I’ve seen too many bad results but after experimenting with hyaron in my lips for a month I couldn’t resist and decided to go for it.

I know it’s not perfect but I’m taking it slow. I focused on the middle only because I found with hyaron that injecting even small amounts on the outer 1/4 of my lips doesn’t look good with my face. So, I think I could use just a touch to blend better but I’m going to see how they settle first.

This is about 70 units from a 1 ml syringe of Elasty f plus. I wasted the first 30 units getting a hang of consistency and seeing if I would be able to get it through a 32 gauge needle, and surprisingly, I could. It just makes the process very slow. I aspirated for 15 seconds (probably longer) with every injection and took my time. I don’t like topical numbing so I never use topical numbing for hyaron or this but was pleasantly surprised by how much the lidocaine mixed in with the filler helped even after just one injection point was done.

I actually did about 20 units the first night and let them settle and wanted to see how I felt when I woke up the next day and just wanted to make sure I didn’t have a bad reaction to it and then did the remainder the next night.

I have one more syringe if I want to add. I actually only did about 20 units on my bottom lip and the remaining 50 on top. I know the ratio of bottom lip size to top lip isn’t perfect but again, I’m just going to feel this out for a few weeks before deciding what to change.

Open to feedback, though! I definitely feel so much more confident. I feel like my lips were so thin before that there wasn’t much room to go but up and I’m happy with where I got them and I’m so glad I practiced with hyaron for so long and with so many different injection techniques and needle sizes/angles, etc.

Are my jowls beyond help?

(Cross-posted)

I did my last lower face tox just under a month ago. These photos were all taken today at the same time. The 4th picture shows my mapping and how many units I used (the 1s along my neck were for horizontal bands). But as you can see, I still look like droopy dog 😞

I'm too nervous to diy filler because I'm concerned about VO risk.

I'm curious about PDO threads but the procedure looks so intimidating! Do threads carry the same risks as filler?

Honestly I'd prefer to stick with tox but I am wondering if my lower face is just too far along to get the results I'm after. (I'm 52 btw)

I'd love to get some suggestions. I don't know where to go from here.

Forehead lift with tox

I am 3 weeks out on my first DIY Neurovie and pretty happy with the results except one minor thing. I’m wanting my forehead lifted a little so that the skin between my eyebrows is tighter. First pic is without me lifting my forehead and second pic is showing what i am hoping to achieve. Should I do a little tox in my hairline to achieve this?

Can curenex be used for mesotherapy? (Confused because comes with nozzle tip)

I REALLY don’t want granulomas so taking extra precaution. I have curenex from derma solutions, it’s curenex “glow and shine” “rejuvenating solution” (specifying in case there’s different models of curenex)
It comes with 5 vials and then a nozzle tip. Is this only for microneedling or can it be used safely for mesotherapy?

Tox Lip Flip Question

I have done a tox lip flip successfully several times with no problems. But this time it’s different (maybe because I’m using a new tox). I did two units each just above each “hump” of the cupids bow, two units at each point above my lip where the edges of my nostrils align, and one unit each about 1cm from the edge of my mouth. I also did two units at two points below the pillows of my lower lip.

Is it normal that after tox lip flip I’m having a difficult time pursing my lips when using mouthwash but my lips do not appear to be “flipped” and the smokers lines wrinkles are still very noticeable? In other words, I seemed to receive the problems without the benefits. Is there any way to fix this?

Opinions please?

Hopefully me asking isn't a problem but I was hoping I could get some recommendations from some people. Dont worry about being brutally honest, it doesn't bother me, I actually prefer it lol. Anyway, I will be 34 July 22nd. If its not obvious in mu photos, I haven't made anti-aging and skin care a big priority. I feel like Im starting to look older than I am. I was hoping I could get some recommendations about different types of products, skin care and/or procedures that I would benefit from. Im mainly worried about anti aging, the fine lines Im starting to see, discoloration, and dull skin. Does anybody see any problem areas or have any recomendatioms? I tried to take a photo of my face fully relaxed, a smile pic and a close up skin Pic to show texture, dull and dry areas and pores. I dont have sensitive skin, never have. So thats not an issue.

Thank you im advance. Again, you wont hurt my feelings. Haha.

Great temp hack for anyone with loose abdominal skin when wearing a midriff exposed outfit…

Might not exactly be a DIY but this simple hack may help some that post what to do with skin but may not want or can’t afford surgery yet.

Mesotox, microtox, meso botox, baby botox…whatever you call it…I’m amazed!

Hands down, mesotox gave me more surface-level skin improvement than any other skin booster I’ve tried and I have tried a lot! From the research I did, there really does seem to be something to it…so if you’ve been on the fence, this is your sign.

My forehead and nose needed the most work: enlarged pores, stubborn blackheads that nothing fixed long-term, and texture issues. Now I honestly can’t believe how my skin feels when I touch it.

My recipe (based on a few studies I read):

**•**	1 vial Curenex Intense Glow and Shine
**•**	1 vial Neurovie 100u, mixed with 1ml liquid lidocaine + 1.5ml saline (I confirmed that the lidocaine does not negatively interact with any of these ingredients from a standalone standpoint, obviously mixing all of this together could prove to interact in a way not intended so do your homework).

I used all of it and stayed clear of the area above the eyebrow arch and around the eyes.

Here’s my forehead.

I can’t track down every study I used, but here’s a good one I kept in my notes: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10481112/

How soon is too soon to do another mesotherapy treatment?

Even when doing a thick product like Karisma or rejuran healer my face is healed/bumps are gone by 1-2 days. I’m wondering how soon can I do another treatment (of a different product) without diminishing the returns of both the previous product I’ve used, and the next product by it being too soon? Ex of products in rotation: Karisma, rejuran healer, Profhilo , rejuran skin booster, NCTF, ASCE

Tox mapping

Hi! I just ordered 50 units of Nabota. This will be my first time doing it myself. I have had Botox probably twice a year over the last 5 years. The last few times I’ve gone, I have not noticed a difference at all. I typically get 14 units in my forehead and a brow lift. Does this mapping look ok? I’m so worried about drooping my brows. Thank you all!

First Time Neurovie...points look ok?

34 F Getting ready to DIY my first time with Neurovie. I am excited, but of course slightly apprehensive. I've gone over a lot of the guides on anatomy and have even looked over some injection courses from Dr. Tim Pearce and lots and lots of videos from Dr. Bita Farrell and Holly Louise Aesthetics. I feel pretty confident, but of course would love some extra eyes on my mapping protocol to let me know if everything checks out, or if certain areas might be contraindicated or problematic. Anything you would add or takeaway? And of course I will accept any pepping-up! 😅 thank you!
