Hayden Panettiere’s Estranged Mom Lesley Vogel Speaks Out After Actor’s Death: She "Lost Her Way" and "I Wish She Had Stayed True to Herself"

Hayden Panettiere’s Estranged Mom Lesley Vogel Speaks Out After Actor’s Death: She "Lost Her Way" and "I Wish She Had Stayed True to Herself"

>In an interview with NBC News, Vogel said, “I think Hayden was an amazingly talented person in so many departments and I think young people who grow up in the entertainment industry — it is a struggle and it’s a very challenging industry and it’s not unusual for them to sadly find the wrong path. I think it becomes very difficult to be true to yourself, and I think Hayden sadly lost her way, and I wish it were different. I wish she had stayed true to herself because she had many incredible attributes.”

>Panettiere detailed the turbulent relationship with her mother in her tell-all memoir, “This Is Me: A Reckoning” in May. Vogel, a former soap opera actress, was Panettiere’s manager when she started out in Hollywood at a young age. In her memoir, Panettiere called her mother a “perfectionist” and alleged that Vogel superglued a fallen tooth back into Panettiere’s mouth so she wouldn’t lose a job. She also claimed her mother pushed her to dress in more “girly” outfits, instead of her preferred tomboy style.

>When the memoir was released, Vogel told Page Six that she believed “the present drama is partially to sell books…As many parents of entertainment children [know], we are all too familiar with the painful observation of watching the self-destructive paths they sometimes choose. No parent hopes for this scenario; we want our children to be the best of themselves and live a peaceful, joyful life. Sadly, this is out of our control. You cannot save someone who does not want to be saved.”

>Regarding her mother, Panettiere told Us Weekly that “unfortunately, we don’t have a relationship right now” but “that doesn’t mean that I don’t leave the door open for the opportunity to present itself one day.” Vogel added in her NBC News interview, “I just feel that she’s with her brother and they’re at peace.” Panettiere’s younger brother Jansen died at 28 in 2023.

“She Left This World Far Too Soon”: Wladimir Klitschko Issues Statement On Ex Hayden Panettiere’s Death & Promises To Keep Her Memory Alive For Their Daughter Kaya

>“Hayden’s tragic death saddens me deeply,” wrote Klitschko, who lives in Ukraine, in a social media post. “She left this world far too soon. Hayden was, although no longer my partner, an important part of my life and the mother of our daughter, Kaya. She built an incredible career through immense talent, while also facing the darker sides of a very demanding industry. Nothing will erase the times we shared or the place she had in our lives.”

>The duo was together on and off from 2008 to 2018. They were engaged in 2013, and in 2014 Kaya was born. Panettiere had been open about her struggles with depression and addiction, the latter of which began when she was given “happy pills” at the age of 15. She got Heroes at 16, and graduated to drinking and occasionally taking opioids.

>Kaya’s birth in 2014 brought postpartum depression, which the actress also spoke about publicly.

>Her relationship with Klitschko ended after she began drinking again. “He didn’t want to be around me,” she said. “I didn’t want to be around me. But with the opiates and alcohol I was doing anything to make me feel happy for a moment. Then I’d feel worse than I did before. I was in a cycle of self-destruction.”

>In 2018, still battling addiction while shooting Nashville, Panettiere sent Kaya to Ukraine for what she believed to be a visit. It turned out to be an intervention, of sorts.

>“I thought she was going over to visit him like she always did,” the actress revealed on Red Table Talk in 2022. “[Kaya] would go back and forth from me in Nashville and Ukraine, and then once she was over there, it was immediately, ‘I want full custody of her,’ which was a shock to me.”

>She continued: “It was very upsetting signing those papers to give him full custody. It was like the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever, ever had to do in my life.”

>Even after their breakup and Kaya’s move, the trio traveled together and supported each other. In 2022, Panettiere wished her former fiancé a happy birthday on social media, calling him a “wonderful man.”

>“To our daughter Kaya,” Klitschko wrote today, “I will always speak of her mother with respect and make sure she remembers the person she was.”

>He ended with, “Rest easy, Hayden. May you find eternal peace.”

Anyone remember Hayden Panettiere's debut pop single 'Wake Up Call'?

This came after Paris Hilton's Stars are Blind so it was going for that reggae-pop sound. She was supposed to have a whole pop album out on Hollywood Records but I think it got scrapped when this song didn't take off.

Perez Hilton....now what ?

While he's currently being hospitalized, there's things to be considered. Moving forward :

Drop the Perez Hilton moniker. It's time to drop it. Too much bad stuff associated with it.

Change it to Mario something.

Keep the main website, He doesn't make videos for it thus you won't see him on there, His sister runs it and that is her lively hood and can even tone it down more.

Ticky Tocky. He was removed after 250,000 signed a petition to ban him. And they did. Afterwards he repeatedly created new accounts which itself created new bans kinda like whack-a-mole with him. Lifetime ban which he gleefully ignored. Im not sure how he was able to keep doing that but Ticky tocky don't play. He lost a TON of revenue. His other social media sites werent making any where near TT. He called YuTuube "caca" as far as revenue. In other words get off social media sites.

I'm sure he'll release a post in the future to explain what had happened but I bet you wont see him for a long time making any videos, just a press release.

There will be tons of interview requests in the future and he'll probably accept them all, he's gotta make money.

Will see.

Thoughts ?

Perez, Perez, Perez

Saving you guys a TMZ link

Perez Hilton was treated for an overdose following an alarming TikTok live stream earlier this month, according to a Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office incident report, obtained by TMZ

As we reported, the internet personality -- legal name Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr. -- was taken to a Miami-area hospital on August 4, after authorities responded to reports of a possible suicide attempt at his home.

According to the police report, fire rescue personnel treated Perez at the scene for multiple injuries and an overdose before he was transported to the hospital.
His sister told cops her brother was "unusually quiet" that day and had locked the bedroom door ... which she said was unusual.
She told cops she asked Perez if he was okay from behind the locked door, and he said he was fine ... but she became "more concerned" when Perez unlocked the door, and she saw him naked and covered in blood.

Perez's sister says she then rushed to take his children out of the home, and they got into her vehicle. While they were in the car, Perez walked out naked and bloody and started banging on the driver's window. She said she drove away once she saw police arrive.

She told cops Perez previously received treatment and had been dealing with depression, anxiety, and overwhelming thoughts following his hospitalization for sepsis earlier this year.

As we reported, Hilton was then placed underFlorida's Baker Act, which allows authorities to temporarily hold someone for a mental health evaluation when they believe the person may pose a danger to themselves or others.

Perez's family announced he suffered injuries requiring surgery and has been recovering with their support.
A TikTok spokesperson told us his account was also banned following the livestream.
Perez has not publicly addressed the details of the incident as he remains in treatment.

James Franco is doing vertical shorts now 😂

Oof, I almost feel bad for him... almost. Talk about a fall from grace. I only discovered verticals while recovering from dental surgery this past January. They're the most ridiculous things. It's like watching a car wreck and I can't look away.

'I'm fine, I'm fine...I can handle it' - says every alcoholic since forever. Brad Pitt is drinking again after 7-years of sobriety.

Brad Pitt, hot off the 2 longest stretches of work in his career...highly successful F1, a new man-and-his-dog film coming out this fall, another new movie written by the problematic Quentin Terantino, and he wrapped another film that sees him reprising his Cliff Booth role...seems like a perfect time for a cocktail! (every person in recovery reading this is either saying 'oh boy...' or in the middle of an intense head-shaking workout)

After offering wine to the shocked Esquire reporter who questioned it, Brad practiced 'Rigorous Honesty' and said, 'No, I got—I was sober for seven years. And then I got back off the wagon. In a more restrained manner. I got overconfident a couple times, went, Yep, nope, not good for me. Not in big quantities.”

If you stopped and listened carefully, you could hear his sponsor yelling 'FUCK YOU BRAD' down Benedict Canyon.

"I can have a few. But I can’t have a lot. I have to be professional about it.”

I predict their divoce will last until the year 2130

In 2016 his drinking contributed to the never-ending divorce between him and Angelia Jolie. Seriously, like I expect my grandchildren telling their grandchildren '...and they still haven't settled who owns the winery'.

Brad joined a 12-step recovery program and thanked Bradley Cooper at the 2020 National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala for helping him get sober. "I got sober because of this guy and every day has been happier ever since. I love you, and I thank you".

Watching someone 'talk themselves back to being a drunk' is not funny. Some can experience bouts of destructive drinking and 'pull it back' and Brad may be one. But more often than not, they talk themselves into a slow roll back to where they were and, oftentimes, their drinking gets worse.

‘The Office’ U.K. Star Lucy Davis Reveals "Incurable" Cancer Diagnosis: It’s "Too Late for Chemo" and "I’m Not Scared of Whatever Comes Next"

>Writing on Instagram, Davis said she was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer a year and a half ago after discovering a lump on her breast. The cancer had “metastasized to my bones,” she said, specifically her spine, right hip, and ribs, and was “incurable, and too late for chemo.”

>“As of now, I’m trying to live out whatever might be left of my life in as fun a way as I possibly can. I always like to find the teachable moments in anything negative that happens. And cancer has not disappointed in that regard; there’s a lot I have learned from it, and I’m grateful for that,” she wrote.

>“The thing that has been most vital to me is humour. I asked my friends and family to make fun of me as much as possible (which they’re really good at), and most importantly of all to not treat me like a sick person. There’s nothing that will make you feel more unwell than being treated as if you’re unwell.”

>Davis, who also appeared in cult British comedy “Shaun of the Dead” and later 2017’s “Wonder Woman,” added: “I’m not scared of whatever comes next. I’m at peace with it.”

>“I still would like to keep working. I’m perfectly able to do so, and acting is one of the biggest joys in my life,” Davis added in her Instagram post. “For those of you on a similar journey to mine, I do wish you well. Cancer asks a lot from us, physically and mentally. And we all get to do it however we choose.”
