Giammona Pool

Has anyone taken swimming lessons at The Westmoor High school pool? I start classes tomorrow but have no idea where to enter and what to take. I’d appreciate any advice!!

Less Fog as we continue to warm globally?

Anyone else feel even though we get our fog its becoming less and less common albeit slowly YOY?

I wonder if thats eventually going to correlate to higher cost of housing/living here in the future.

Wifi.

Hi guys I’m moving to Daly City mid July and I just wanted to know what WiFi you recommend? Should I get AT&T or xfinity?
My apartment complex recommended xfinity but AT&T is cheaper so I don’t know if itll work just as good.

How realistic is it to commute from Northern California to Daly City every day for work?

Hey guys! Me and my partner are moving from the east coast to the west coast for work. I’ll be working in Daly City, and I was wondering how realistic it would be to commute from rohnert park, CA to Daly City? I saw on google that it could take from 1hr 30 min to 2hr 15 min. Is that a realistic time frame?

Boutique Pilates/Lagree fitness studio at St. Francis Square?

Hi neighbors! I'm considering opening a boutique Lagree fitness studio (think strength training x pilates on a reformer — similar to Core40, solidcore, bodyrok) at St. Francis Square next to the new Seafood City. The rent and buildout are $$$, but it's a new building, there's parking and it's near freeways. Before I move forward in the process, I'm curious to get your thoughts on the following:

St Francis Square location

On the fitness side: Is there a crowd in Daly City that would want boutique fitness? There's currently a Club Pilates and Orangetheory nearby, but Crunch feels like the main spot. Where are you all working out and what motivates you to pay for workouts?

On the location: How's St. Francis Square feeling these days with Seafood City open? Do you think it has potential to be a hot spot once more tenants move in or is it too buried in a residential neighborhood? There's currently only Seafood City and Cafe86 open.

On the concept generally: Unlimited classes are ~$289-385/month in SF, ~$399/month in Millbrae. Does something closer to $269/month unlimited feel realistic for Daly City?

Appreciate any honest feedback from people who know the area better than I do! (I lived in Daly City during covid but have since moved to South SF)

PCP

Can anyone recommend a good pcp at Kaiser Daly City or nearby? Bonus points if they are supporting and empathetic of postpartum mental health concerns, weight gain/loss and diabetes. TIA

Daly City/Broadmoor Daycare recommendation: Hana Daycare

Our baby has unfortunately aged out of Hana Daycare but this couple (Tamir and Yuki) has been running a certified daycare for a long long time. They are excellent and great daycare providers. I wanted to give them a local shoutout and recommendation because it seemed like there was quite a huge waitlist for baby care at other daycares nearby. Their rate is lower than many peninsula baby daycares and they never really have more than 5-6 babies/toddlers at a time.

They noted they currently have openings and haven’t seem to have as much luck w new recent recruitment, so I wanted to help.

They really specialize in the baby to toddler baby stage. There isn’t a single bad review for the kids that have been through (ignore the one on Yelp for the wrong listed daycare.

They’re also on a bunch of sites like Winnie.
