This concept interesting bcs although they're the same person(kinda...?) Their environment, classmates and killing game change their respective personalities. That and the fact that I'm pretty sure they have slightly different base personalities(90% sure DRA Yuki is way more confident than SDRA2 Yuki). ALSO, need to see those 2 interact since I can't for the love of god find fanfiction that has any kind of interaction between them for some reason.

Hey y'all! The Living Melody AU guy here, its been some time since the last post and I do apologize, Ive just been busy with some other personal projects and Uni to really have time to develop the AU that much. BUT I decided to take this time today to do as so! And I am very happy with what I came up with.

As you can see, a lot happens here, one of the main things is Hibiki and Yoruko argument. It takes place as a semi-replacement of the Sora and Yoruko argument, happening before said happens. It serves as both more screen time for Hibiki, and also more for her to do! I think the fight was gonna happen at one point or another with how I was developing Hibiki and Yuki's relationship, both being close and there for each other when their respective "big sibling" figure dies. And with the way Yoruko treated Yuki in chapter 4 and 5, Hibiki was going to retaliate one way or another.

So what better way to do it than in the worst moment Hibiki could find Yoruko and Yuki in? In this timeline, Hibiki joins Sora after she cant find Yuki, thats because throughout the first half of chapter 5, she acts as some sort of guardian to Yuki after the chapter 4 trial and the reveal of Utsuro in Yuki, so she constantly is trying to bring that out of him. That is why she and Sora team up to look for the two.

And after finding out whats happening? Hibiki snaps at Yoruko, basically telling her off at how hypocritical and mean she has treated Yuki in comparison to the rest. Which in turns causes Yoruko to pretty much tell Hibiki what she told Sora in the original.

And then we have the final part, which... I'm actually going to leave it to you guys to theorize about! I thought it would be fun to leave some parts unexplained for now so people could come up with their own theories about it. It will definitely be explained, and I already do have why this happens, but this gives me a way for me to interact with anyone that follows these posts and to also get inspired by any ideas to develop said AU!

Anyways, this is all I have to say for the time being, hope you guys liked the more experimental path I am going for this Universe as a way to give Hibiki more to do. And I will try and come back to more regular posting, no promises though!

Why does every murderer and their victim just so happens to be both of the same-sex? Was LINUJ trying to tell us something gay with this kind of pattern? Like holy shit, i know this game has plenty of yuri-coded moments with Sora and Yoruko but holy shit i didn't knew this game was that queer-coded.

After an eventful conversation, u/KumaMrParkerLover made an entire chapter for chapter 2, credit to him because most of what is going to be said came from him. Dude popped off yesterday.

So basically after Haruhiko was outted as the blackened, the next day Tsurugi holds a meeting basically exiling Mitch from the group for being a potential killer. A fight breaks out amongst the group as others admit that they would rather stake out on their own instead of stay tethered to Tsurugi's system, Mitch, Kiyoka, Kizuna, Kinji, and Rei all leave the room as the meeting continues

Later that day, Yuki eavesdrops on Kiyoka arguing with Mitch about ... something? But Yuki is only able to hear half of the conversation, from what they can tell, Kiyoka seems to forgive Mitch for attempted murder, but that doesn't mean she's going to let her guard down around him and she is going to be watching him for as long as she can. The two of them are seen later doing training runs with Ayame.

Later in the day, the next motive is revealed, secrets. the important ones being

Kanata Inori: This person is responsible for bringing you all here(Secretly Yamato Kisaragi’s secret)

Kakeru Yamaguchi: This person is a traitor for the group(Kinji Uehara’s secret)

Kiyoka Maki: This person is allied with Akane Taira, AKA: the mastermind!(Secretly Yuki Maeda’s secret)

The day goes by, and they all agree to not open the envelopes containing their classmate's secrets. However, some are just too curious for their own good, including are about to be killer.

3 days go by without any action, until one day, Yuki hears the buzzer go off as Monokuma announces ... "A body has been discovered" When finally coming across the body himself ... Mikako Kurokwa, had been killed, her body lying lifelessly in the gym, the most likely cause of death being strangulation. The culprit making a locked room mystery out of their crime.

Said crime falls to pieces in the trial, when Yuki finally manages to piece together that Mikako wasn't strangled, the markings around her neck were done to the body post death. She was actually poisoned, but not just immediately, no gradually. The only person who could have the knowledge and access to continuously poison Mikako without suspicion is none other than the ultimate Surgeon, Kanata Inori.

When the closing argument finishes and the votes are tallied, Kanata doesn't crash out or go into a monologue, she just silently cries and sobs like the vulnerable child she is. She didn't want to kill her friend, but with the secret she got, she got, she thought she could have had the potential to kill the second mastermind, thinking that if they were gone, Akane wouldn't have a reason to keep this stupid game going. She cries and just repeatedly says she is sorry to everyone, but some people just don't want to see her die.

During the post trial, Yamato breaks out of his grief and the side effects as he screams that he didn't want his sister to die like this. This causes him to cough up more blood.

Kakeru is fighting for Kanata like his life depends on her innocence, trying to use his talent to find any way Kanata could be considered to be innocent in this whole ordeal, he has a sickly sister back home, and he wouldn't be able to live with himself if she just died here. Kanata tries to comfort him, saying that he needs to live for his siblings as punishment time begins.

Kanata is dragged away and executed as the number of students begins to dwindle more.

What should happen for chapter 3?

waiting for a a Aikane redemption on this chapter. Teruya also needs more attetion or he will eventually be behind the other one's alive, he's just to flat. Mekaru is starting to really get on my nerves too. And Maki is still the best. Have a nice evening.

In the altered scenario the following things happen

Mitch gets absolutely demolished by Tsurugi because in this scenario, the nameplates aren't switched and Tsurugi detains Mitch, restraining him and telling the group what happened last night. The irony is that Kiyoka is the one to let Mitch know how much of a piece of shit he was for disturbing the peace>! (look into my eyes)!<

A few days pass, and we see the group slowly begin to grow more on edge after Mitch's attempted murder, Nothing seems to happen until one morning, Yuki and a few others see Mikako outside the dining hall, when asking what she was doing she simply responds with "take a look." Inside the dining hall, Teruya Otori The Ultimate Merchant had been struck down.

After a long and confusing trial with people all having pretty tight alibis, Haruhiko is singled out as the only one mixing up his story constantly, when putting all the facts together, it could only be the ultimate pilot who was capable of such a crime. When pressed on the subject, he said that Teruya was planning his own murder and the pilot accidentally walked in on the set up for it, resulting in a fight that left one of them dead and the other dreading the thought of being found out. He is dragged away to execution that I poorly photoshopped the concept of.

As I said before this chapter is a mixing of different ideas from yesterday, I think a lot of ideas really melded together quite well.

So now the question is, what should transpire in chapter 2?

Just want to know something about this especially Kanata where you know she used to be chapter 2 killer and have been psychopath. I just want to know if Linuj ever elaborate with this further before changing it like why Kanata turn to out be a psychopath like that, is it possible that Utsuro is connected with her like instead of Shinji who save her from the incident the one that save her was Utsuro🤔

There wasn't a lot of effort in this.

I just wanted to make something fun and effective, as well as practice making things pop out and simpler styles.

We've settled on the cause of the shift

Akane is revealed to be the ultimate despair during the prologue rather than late game, but in return Yamato gets to be with the cast the whole game, Ayame will still be a part of the game similar to the mastermind in SDRA2

So now the question is

What events will take place in chapter 1 now that these events have been set in place?

Not just a victim and killer, feel free to give input on new character beats as well. I think I'll be going a lot more in depth with the chapters moving forward, going from daily life to deadly life
