Finished my Blood Hags :)

I had some fun experimenting with blood paint and super glue. I love these guys, not sure I want another unit though just because I don't like units looking all the same. I know Witch Aelves aren't super changeable but I have reposed them and swapped arms and stuff and you can't really do that for these guys.

What battle tactics would be best for my Aqshy list?

This is the list I have been practicing with in preparation for the new season. I have only been playing against troggs so far, but I’m very happy with how the list has been feeling. That being said, I am struggling to nail down my tactics. I know I will be taking Burning for Vengeance, but I am torn between Flanking Firestorm and Smokescreen.

(I will be running the Avatar heroic trait, I just copied and pasted my list)

Total War: Age of Sigmar Concept - Daughters of Khaine

Daughters of Khaine (26 Non-Lord/Hero Units. 36 Units in total.)

Sorry if I was a bit late on this one. But the Daughters of Khaine, a fan-favorite that continues to surprise people! Kind of surprised how many units I got this one.

With that said, Morathi-Khaine & Shadow Queen are the main LL of Daughters of Khaine. You did not misread it, they are two characters-in-one. Morathi-Khaine is the beautiful, diplomatic, ruler half of Morathi's soul. While the Shadow Queen is the monstrous, deceiving shadow half of Morathi's soul. And in the tabletop, you have to take both of them. Because they are both Morathi, if one of them dies, the other also dies. But also keep in mind, Shadow Queen is kind of an overpowered monster of a unit and Morathi-Khaine is a powerful spellcaster. So it's kind of balanced. In a Total War concept, I'd imagine Morathi-Khaine would be the main LL and Shadow Queen would either be a hero unique to Morathi-Khaine or a unique summon. And for secondary LL, the obvious contender is Krethusa the Croneseer, the main Morai-Heg representative, represents more traditional Khainite worshippers who reject Morathi as their god. She's a really cool character that further diversified the Daughters of Khaine themes.

Notes

Below are some notes as to design choices.

  • Blood Wyrms: An even cheaper alternative to the Khinerai units.
  • Arenai: A middle-ground between Sisters of Slaughter & Blood Hags
  • Knives of the Crone: Your Morai-Heg units. Naturally not available to Morathi-Khaine, but is available to Krethusa.
  • Khainite Manticore: Manticores are the original symbol of Khaine. I know there somewhat of an afterthought even back in Fantasy Battles but you gotta have Manticores for a Khaine faction.
  • Blood Hag Draiches: Functional similar to Executioners of Har Ganeth. Their draiches are a reference to them.
  • Darkflame Warlock: I love seeing the concept of Warlocks expanded upon, especially since they are no longer binded by Malekith's fear of male sorcerers usurping him in AoSlore.
  • Slaughtershade: Sort of an upgrade to Sisters of Slaughter.
  • Bloodwrack Shrine: Closest thing to artillery while also acting as a magical chariot unit.
  • Heart of Fury: Acts as an powerful AoE chariot-esque unit.
  • Avatar of Khaine: Your initially defensive but buffable Tier V unit.
  • Bloodwrack Viper: Your offensive hero-killer Tier V unit.

Yes, this obviously a joke, but I do want to know if there’s even a snowball’s chance in hell of us getting that, or any replacement cavalry for that matter

How do Dok play? I dont want to fall into anouther Drukhari trap

After a few years my freinds wore me down to get me to play warhammer 40k. I started with drukhari because I like the evil goth bdsm viking vibe they had and they were advertised as highly mobile glass cannons. Imagine my suprise when I start playing them and discover they are all glass no cannon. I still like the vibe but im missed the edition where they get buffed from every kill and our opponents were woried any time we started to build up steam.

They've tricked me into trying AoS and I was already using some Dok models to proxie for those butt ugly Wytches so you guys were the 1st faction im looking at. From what I can see you guys have a very aggressive playstyle that are highly mobile and rewards kills and being killed with stacking buffs that will snowball if you start winning. You even have a big giant monster with tits and is said to be one of the best stats sheets in the game.

My question is if these snake ladies have the skills to get the kills to pay the bills. I dont mind dying easily, its part of the fun but I am already getting tabled in my syfi game because none of my evil space elves pack any punch. I want my opponent to be scared of me.

Help me with my shame

I threw out my figs bc I discovered hat I didn't like painting + I find all that stuff way too expansive. But i'm still interested in battletomes and the free ones (I don't play its just lore). But now I think I do not deserve to read the battletomes I want bc of what I did. Anyone can help ?

Before you ask I still have my Khaine battletome, my short factions handbook and want to read the bonesplitterz's free online one.

Re: The Bot Spam

Hey y'all, just wanted to make a note regarding the weird bot influx.

We've enabled some filtering to hopefully stop the 1-2 day old accounts with no karma from posting. But as always, reporting and downvoting the bots are the best way to get our attention if they do get through. We both work full-time so we're not always available for immediate action, but usually will see it within a few hours for removal/ban.
