Mansion
Who do you think bought the mansion? Is some big name coming back? Vivian? Vitales? Another Dimera?

I knew the Kiriakis family had financial problems. But, not that it was this bad. Having the first scene today be Alamainia and then the next scene be the Kiriakis mansion = lol.
There’s a lot of talk between characters about legacies and repeating patterns and all that. So it occurs to me that Gwen might be set up for becoming “Vivian 2.0”.
She’s kinda an outsider because she’s not really a Horton, Brady, DiMera or a Kiriakis. Yes Jack is her father but she hasn’t really been focused on them in a while. Not to mention she’s independently wealthy now because she got money from Dimitri’s side of the family in the divorce. If I’m remembering right, it’s Alamanian money.
Obviously she’s a lot more sympathetic than Vivian tends to be as a character. But I think the comparison fits. She can create problems for anyone in town if she wants.
From a certain perspective, I understand that Joy doesn’t feel safe around Stephanie. She pulled a gun out on Joy. Any parent would want to do anything they could to protect their children.
But she gots to understand that Stephanie was going through a crisis due to Owen Kent, who held her and Jermey Horton against their will and gaslit her for months. It can’t be easy for Stephanie. But at the same time, her going around with a gun isn’t the answer either. She could endanger someone. She’s not in the right mind set to hold a weapon. Even if she wants to protect herself. At least she got Steve, Kayla, Brady and others to protect her.
And Joy asking for too much. Forcing Stephanie to stay away from Kelsey for 18 years is a bit too much and very unreasonable. Especially when Alex might (hopefully not) be apart of Stephanie for the rest of their life.
I’m starting to question Joy motivation. I mean she only came to town after hearing that Alex wanted to be a father, via Jeremy. She spent months trying to hide her baby from Alex with Chloe and their parents help. If Jeremy didn’t inform her about what Stephanie told him, would she have came to town with Kelsey? Stephanie might be right. Joy might be just there for Alex and this battle between her and Alex could be a ploy to split Alex and Stephanie.
And if Joy really cares about Alex and Kelsey, she would try to come up with a real compromise for all three of them. As someone else suggested, a stipulation where Stephanie must attend therapy and maybe that Alex or some other adult must be present when around Stephanie and Kelsey. That could work. And besides, Stephanie has been good with kids. She has helped take care of her cousin Trey (I think) and Alex clearly trust Stephanie. So Joy should reconsider her choice.
Can someone please make me understand how to tolerate watching Joy? I know, she's got a baby and the baby belongs to Alex also but I just cannot get through the scenes.... Someone give me something positive to latch onto????
Correct me if I am wrong but how come I’ve never heard Johnny even say “Hey, Chanel, I spoke to Allie, she’s so sorry you’re going through all this and wishes she was here to support us. But she sends her love”
Like wtf that’s his twin sister.
It just strikes me as so weird. No Sydney no “Hey my mom sends her love”
If I missed it I stand corrected don’t shoot me
Xander and Sarah reunion story just feels sudden.
We all know that it would happen eventually, but the timing is just a bit random. I would’ve preferred if this story got more build up.
The episode itself was overall good.
Back in mid January, it was reported that the actors that play this quartet had been let go. We are now 7 months later, and with the advanced filming schedule, we have to be coming up to their exits pretty soon. And with Chanel in labor and Johnny potentially taking the fall for his dad, I can kinda see how their exits may play out.
But what about Tate and Holly? Will they just simply up and leave Salem? Or surely it's gotta tie into Sophia some how.
When Johnny asked Julie yesteday if she would baby sit Trey he said for a play date with Jules and Carver. She brought Trey to the pub. She didn’t bring the twins. I know it’s not a big deal from a storyline perspective. But, some continuity would be nice.
am i the only one who absolutely love her as gwen she kills me with her one liners... god today she made me soooo laugh!!!
PLZ KEEP GWEN FOR A LONG TIME!
I hope she tells him to pound sand. She deserves better than to be someone’s second choice.
It looks like John Oliver had fun. He seems like a true soap opera fan and his appearance has helped boost the ratings slightly as Days now appears on the top of Peacock main screen. I wouldn’t mind if he returned on Days or GH.
Dan Feuerrigel has commented on John post on instagram.

It's called "Drifter" and it will make its world premiere at this years Toronto International Film Festival! Congratulations Tamara!
I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone post about Cary Christopher (ex-Thomas) in yet another high-profile series, this time the DC drama Lanterns. This means that with Spider-Noir, he has already appeared in both DC and Marvel projects (although Sony Marvel, not the MCU Marvel). He plays the young version of a small town son in 2016 in a series that looks like it will jump back and forth.
Meanwhile these other ones might have been pointed out before as they aren't new shows, but I was watching Future Man and saw Raven Bowens (Chanel) in one episode as "Jennifer" while Timothy Horner, Leo's juror roommate, recurs in season 2.
And I also was watching The Last Ship and was like, why does that guy look so familiar? When I realized the one off in season 5 was played by Brandon Barash (ex?-Stefan).
But since Cary is the actual new one, here are also some photos of him at the premiere! Love his outfit!
