Maleificent and Aurora story should’ve been explored more

I am kinda disappointed with how the show adapted Sleeping Beauty. There was a lot of potential for the story. I would’ve liked for the show to explore Maleificent past with Aurora and possibly her parents King Stefan and Queen Leah (I had to look up her name).

I know that it’s already been told through 2015 Disney Sleeping Beauty remake Maleificent, but Once Upon a Time could’ve told an interesting story with their own twist.

All we got were a few episodes within season two and four with Aurora and Maleificent.

Michael Ocampo joins Days in a new role

>! Michael Ocampo joins the role of Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) boyfriend named Gus. This comes after the news that Javi met a new man after his split from Leo. I will give the actor a chance, but I don’t see why this is needed. Javi and Leo were in a good place. They managed to gain a fandom. And now, we have to deal with this nonsense. And it makes Javi look like a hypocrite if this new character is truly Javi new boyfriend. I hope that this is a fake spoiler. !<

New look at next week episodes of Bold! (5/25-29/26)

With Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) and Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton) back on Bold, it’s giving me nostalgia 😩

The show was real good when they were on the show. I still remember the baby Beth story. That was soapy.

2019 was truly the last great year for bold.

The Doctor reaction after discovering how River Song was conceived is so funny 😂

I just loved when The Doctor realizes that the reason why Melody Pond/River Song has time lord DNA is because her parents Rory Williams and Amy Pond shared a passionate moment in the Tardis after he rebooted the universe.

The facial expressions on Matt Smith face is just brilliant and I loved how this story played out.

I wish Once Upon a Time never recast Jafar

From perspective, I understand why Once Upon a Time had to recast Jafar from Disney Aladdin for season 6 of OUAT. The actor who originated the role, Naveen Andrews, was involved with a Netflix series at the time and the creative team wanted to move from the actor with Anthony Kayvan.

I grew up watching Soap Operas. So I am kinda used to seeing characters get recast. And whenever characters get recast, they tend to get a personality change in order to fit the new actors set of skills.

Recasting Naveen Andrews was going to be a big task, regardless of who chose. To me, he is one of the best actors throughout OUAT franchise, and he is one of the few reasons why people who never watched Once Upon a Time in Wonderland should check out that show. He and Emma Rigby (The Red Queen) carried that series.

He felt threatening, mysterious, and sometimes romantic as I would sometimes get chemistry vibes from him and Anastasia. With the new actor, I see no resemblance with the original. It’s that bad.

And I don’t get why Jafar was recast. His story ended with Once Upon a Time in Wonderland and the timeline seems questionable. Plus, we got no indication that he knew Aladdin and Jasmine.

It’s a major retcon with Jafar story and he really added nothing to Once Upon a Time season 6 because I don’t think the writers cared that much about the Aladdin characters. And they got rid of Jaafar fast.

It’s hard to believe that Delon de Metz (Zende Forrester) been on the show for 2 years

So I watched that bold skit with the actors talking about team Forrester vs team Logan, and what got my attention was when Delon said that his character been screwed over by the Forrester’s for 2 years.

It’s kinda hard to believe.

I know that many of us can be hard on the characters at times, but I think it’s mainly because of how he’s been written.

He seems very charismatic and energetic in real life and I wish he was written like this on the show.

Anyways, it’s just hard to believe that he’s been on the show for 2 years. He hasn’t done much. The show doesn’t seem to prioritize the character like they once did when Rome Flynn was in the role.

He felt like a central focus back then and was even involved in a popular romance with Nicole Avant.

The actor deserves better. The character deserves better too.

How do I remove a comment from queue if it was removed by Reddit itself?

So in a subreddit that I co-mod in, sometimes I would see in the queue ‘comment been removed by Reddit’. But I can’t manually remove it from the queue like normal post.

What should I do? Also, I am on mobile.

How do yall feel about the marketing for Sofia the First: Royal Magic?

I haven’t paid much attention to the marketing or promotion of the series. But for those who had, do you guys think it’s good so far and will it attract many audiences?

Former Days head-writer Ron Carlivati speaks out on rumors about the new writers being forced to use his outline

In a Twitter thread started between The Chat host/my mutual Alan Sarapa and a Twitter user name Tia, they started a discussion about Paula Cwikly and Marie Jeane Ford, the current head writers of Days that replaced Ron Carlivati, and Ron responded to the rumors about the new Days writers being ‘forced’ to finish up his storylines.

Which has officially been denied by Ron himself.

All of the material that we seen after Ron exit was all new and that he had a different vision in mind for EJ shooting storyline, John Black Death, and possibly other storylines. Though, he never confirmed what the outcome of his planned storylines would’ve looked like.

I never heard Richard Wharton (Willhem Rolf) without his accent before 🤯

I watched this interview from Richard Wharton (Willhem Rolf) where he talks about his time on Days. I never heard the actor without a German accent. I am kinda surprised.

I only watched the first 25-30 minutes of the interview where he talks about his time on Days.

He main mainly talks about his audition process during the beginning of Covid, how he learned the German language and accent for this role, stories he heard about the previous actor who played Doctor Rolf, working with Stacy Haiduk, and he also praised actors like Deidre Hall and others from the show.

It was a decent interview.

Who is supposed to be older, Devon or Lilly Winters?

I’m talking about the characters original ages.

Not Bryton James and Christel Khali ages.
