Days went all out with the visuals and writing for Sami Brady execution after she was accused of murdering Franco. The show should’ve been nominated for an Emmy for its writing during that year.

I have watched John Oliver's show Last Week Tonight with my mother on and off throughout the years, and when I heard he was going to appear on Days, I was excited. John is a pretty likable host and intelligent. Plus, I had a feeling that with the publicity of him joining Days, it would help boost the ratings. I’m just glad that he was willing to accept Days' offer at a low price because it did help the show, and I’m sure he was willing to do whatever because he’s a true soap fan.

When I first saw the pictures of his appearance, I was a bit skeptical about the wig and the fact that his character would be inside EJ's bedroom for parts of his story. Which didn’t make sense to me at first, but it worked for the overall story and the budget restraints.

The concept of his character is unique when compared to the character he played on General Hospital where he played the head of the WSB organization (GH equivalent to the ISA).

The character and his job title and the look seem a bit campy, but that’s what John wanted as we all know he was looking for something that would only work for a soap opera and it did.

It's also fun to see him work with soap legends like Susan Hayes, Deidre Hall, and even Jackée Harry.

And he did a great job working with Dan (EJ DiMera). It looks like those two had a blast working together.

I wouldn’t mind if John Oliver came back as Salem Chief Water Inspector if they find the right story to fit him in, but with a job like that, it might be a challenge for the current writers.

I just gotta say that I'm enjoying Emily O'Brien (Gwen) scenes with Galen Gering (Rafe Hernandez) and Elia Cantu (Jada Hunter) in the Salem PD interrogation room.

A lot of people in Salem believe that Gwen is naive and take her for granted because of her personality and history, but she's a lot smarter than people realize.

She understands her worth and knows how to handle certain situations when she's in the know.

And honestly, I do not blame Gwen for not coming up with an agreement. Her point of view is pretty valid. Salem PD doesn't have a good track record when it comes to dealing with the DiMeras.

Just look at Stefano. He's still messing with people's lives while dead 😂

Back in early 2024, Israeli military went after 5-years old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab and her family.

Israeli military managed to kill her family before shooting Hind Rajab with a total of 355 bullets, then prevented ambulance from getting access to her location so that she can die alone.

It was later discovered that Israel soldiers buried the bodies and vehicles in a mass grave and it took a whole week for the bodies to be recovered by U.N and rescue workers.

The Israeli military said it would not launch criminal investigations into three other attacks that killed aid workers from World Central kitchen and Doctors Without Boarders.

From a certain perspective, I understand that Joy doesn’t feel safe around Stephanie. She pulled a gun out on Joy. Any parent would want to do anything they could to protect their children.

But she gots to understand that Stephanie was going through a crisis due to Owen Kent, who held her and Jermey Horton against their will and gaslit her for months. It can’t be easy for Stephanie. But at the same time, her going around with a gun isn’t the answer either. She could endanger someone. She’s not in the right mind set to hold a weapon. Even if she wants to protect herself. At least she got Steve, Kayla, Brady and others to protect her.

And Joy asking for too much. Forcing Stephanie to stay away from Kelsey for 18 years is a bit too much and very unreasonable. Especially when Alex might (hopefully not) be apart of Stephanie for the rest of their life.

I’m starting to question Joy motivation. I mean she only came to town after hearing that Alex wanted to be a father, via Jeremy. She spent months trying to hide her baby from Alex with Chloe and their parents help. If Jeremy didn’t inform her about what Stephanie told him, would she have came to town with Kelsey? Stephanie might be right. Joy might be just there for Alex and this battle between her and Alex could be a ploy to split Alex and Stephanie.

And if Joy really cares about Alex and Kelsey, she would try to come up with a real compromise for all three of them. As someone else suggested, a stipulation where Stephanie must attend therapy and maybe that Alex or some other adult must be present when around Stephanie and Kelsey. That could work. And besides, Stephanie has been good with kids. She has helped take care of her cousin Trey (I think) and Alex clearly trust Stephanie. So Joy should reconsider her choice.

Okay, this is my last post for now, but I wanted to talk about Ecliptor and Darkonda rivalry.

Both are weapons created by the empire to fight Dark Spector wars against all that is good in the universe.

Ecliptor started off as an evil soldier for Dark Spector, but later grown a heart for Karone/Astronema and tried to do everything in his power to protect her, while Darkonda wants to fulfill Dark Spector mission. Watching their own storyline evolve throughout the series had been fascinating.

I’m currently watching Power Rangers: In Space on Vizio TV. I have watched the show when it was on Netflix multiple times, but I never seen the show in HD quality. It’s insane how good the show looks.

And In Space is one of my favorite Power Ranger seasons. So I’m just excited right now.

Xander and Sarah reunion story just feels sudden.

We all know that it would happen eventually, but the timing is just a bit random. I would’ve preferred if this story got more build up.

The episode itself was overall good.

The new Netflix Hollywood Arts show need to do something that will set the show apart from Victorious. There are a few positives in the show to make the show different like the musical numbers, production, etc, but I’m worried that people will look down upon trini throughout the series when the original show already did that. And the OG show proved that Trina is a good character on her own.

She is just as talented as the original core characters from victorious, and Daniella Monet has earned her spot in this series if that makes sense.
