Chipotle reached out and it was sad.

Here is the original post.
Well guys im back. I wanted to reply to each and everyone one of you but reddit banned me for making a joke for 3 days. So im here to tell ypu guys chipotle reached out to me and it was so sad.
So I complained online and on the internet and I got a call from the store manager saying he would be happy to replace my real bowl. I told him I was late for work and like to just pick it up instead of coming in and let him know I was going to take pictures of it. He assured me over and over it would be a full triple chicken bowl with extra cheese and sour cream..i was shocked and was so excited for food.
Well I didn't need to work I just wanted to spend the least amount od time there as possible b c of my previous antics.
I walked in and the manager shook my hand, and said " op we are sorry, here is your bowl. " I was hyped grabbed the bag and instantly knew... they fucked up again. Here is a picture of my TRIPLE CHICKEN EXTRA CHEESE EXTRA SOUR CREAM REPLACEMENT BOWL.
Im planning my revenge as we speak.
Just saying.
First time ever walking out. Stupidest thing I’ve ever experienced. Burrito bowl and asked for 2 scoops of rice. Both of the scoops were not full scoops or half scoops. They were with the tip.
Asked for a full scoop and the server does the same thing and tells me if she gives any more she’ll have to charge for extra.
Seriously. Just rice at the moment. I just ended up walking out and grabbing a whole pizza from little caesers next door.
If i could location drop and shame, I’d do it.
EDIT: Chanhassen MN location
Battery for scale. 10/10 would order again.
My local spot is literally half mile from my house and I’ve never had a problem before. I stopped in after i got out of work late and didn’t get dinner yet it’s 30 min before close. I get protein cup and ask for 3 tortillas and then get chips and drink. I get home and thankfully notice the mold right away. I call the helpline they claim they’re going to email me or call. I still haven’t gotten a call or email yet over 24 hrs later. Of course local place makes it a habit of never giving you a receipt but used a chipotle gift card which still has money left so they can absolutely check my purchase. I think I deserve a refund it messed up my dinner and they’re lucky I was paying attention and caught it because i could’ve gotten really sick with all that black mold on those. How long should I wait to hear back and what should I say if they give me a problem about the receipt?
Someone actually complained that we over-portioned meat.
They ordered light rice by the way.
Then, extra sour cream and salsa on top of the bowl , through Doordash online mobile orders which they don't pick it up for 20 - 30 minutes from the time we make it then complained why the food is cold.
Some people man .... I just have no words
I am absolutely blown away by how terrible Chipotle’s customer service has become.
I just came home from the restaurant at 6860 Pearl Rd. First off, the guy behind the line couldn't answer basic questions (literally told me "I don't know" when I asked if the corn was hot). Then, he overcharged me by 60 cents on a standard chicken burrito that is clearly marked as $9.20 on the board.
To top it off, I get the burrito home, and it’s a total disaster—completely fell apart into a sloppy mess the second I picked it up. Inedible. I had to throw it in the trash.
I opened up the Pepper chatbot to try and get it fixed. I get connected to a live agent named Noemi. I upload my receipt three separate times because the agent claims they can't see it. Fine. I then manually type out every single piece of information from the receipt (address, exact time, total, items).
The second I type it out, the agent replies: "Thanks for the information. I've already located your receipt on our system... Unfortunately, we cannot compensate every time an order isn't perfectly satisfying... We consider this matter closed and will be ending this interaction."
And then she literally left the chat and kicked me back to the automated robot.
So Chipotle overcharges me, serves me a burrito that falls apart in my hands, makes me jump through hoops to look up my receipt, and then basically says "sucks to be you" and shuts the door in my face.
Has anyone else dealt with this garbage service lately? How do you actually get a hold of someone corporate who gives a damn?
I worked at Chipotle for five years… so I guess I expected better of them knowing how things work.
Was astonished that just because they were out of the red high protein cups, ( and clear portion cups) they refused to honor the same cost as a cup, when they could just scoop the same amount of chicken into a regular bowl.
They then tried to charge me as a double chicken bowl, when all I had was chicken. FYI that’s 15$ dbl chicken bowl cost vs 4$ for a high protein cups. Then as I was about to ask about the 3 pointer, which is still almost double the protein cup price, he had such an attitude with me.
Seems like common sense to apply the standard portion scoop as a side into a white bowl instead of the fancy red one…Then charge the cost for the red one? Ugh
…I had spinal surgery recently so I was NOT hangry from the gym as I normally would be since I can’t workout. Thought I was being quite civil asking for chicken actually😂
Am I crazy for trying to get the same chicken portion at the same price but in the whiteeeee bowl instead of the redddd one lmao
Closest chipotle to where I live is like 40 mins away and I very rarely eat out, I had chipotle a couple times when I was 16 in 2012 cause my school did a big trip out of the city (private school) and the chipotle was GREAT I enjoyed the hell out it and almost made the long drive a couple times just for it but never pulled the trigger
I'm on a work trip and my coworker asked if we could get chipotle and so we did, My burrito was still huge but the flavor was so much worse than before. The quality very obviously has changed a ton and while it was still pretty decent it was a shadow of what I remember when I was a kid. Idk if its cause I was young or what but this was a super disappointing experience from how much I remember enjoying it as a kid.
Employees of Chipotle, what is the incentive in under-serving portions? Outside of keeping your job, are there any other incentives that keep you complying with the meager portions Chipotle has been giving lately?
I ask this because the looks i get when I ask for more rice etc. are looks that make me feel like the action of you giving me more food is coming out of your pocket.
Is it just me or does anyone else’s chipotle attempt to steal from them everytime they go to pay? Yesterday was literally the third time at the same location.
First time: was charged for extra chicken I didn’t order nor did the person making it say. Didn’t catch that til after I paid (my fault) and then in the same breath shorted me $10 of my change and gave me attitude when I went back in to ask for it. (Guess they’re used to people not noticing and was pissed I did)
Second time: Shorted $15 of my change. Different person, less attitude but my god doesn’t the register tell you the literal change amount?
Yesterday: at first tried to charge me an additional $12 for my order. I get it enough I know the roundabout cost give or take a few bucks, so I said something and they tried to again tell me that was the total. Had to lay out their prices for their workplace to them then swiped my card, was told it didn’t go through and to swipe again. Charged twice now have to go through the bullshit of getting refunded.
I’m literally 1 POINT away from getting a free meal and they do this, how the hell do these points work anyway.
I really enjoy day old chips when they a kind of chewy
I would like to make a public announcement that I personally hate you if you come in and order extra sour cream, extra hot sauce, and extra guac on your burrito. Especially if you complain about it being soupy and getting everywhere. And especially if you do it during a rush.
I beg chipotle to require the liquids to be on the side because it's nasty, gets everywhere, and is always during a rush so I can't stop to clean or change gloves. so not only is your burrito messy, I now have to drag everyone else's food through the soup.
