Where is Tessa?

She has disappeared. Just because Mariah is in the hospital should not mean no more Tessa. Unlike most of the forced pairings on this show, the Tessa and Daniel romance was exciting. They were vulnerable and romantic and believable. I hope they haven't dropped this love story completely.

What part of America still lives in winter?

Maybe it’s just because it’s 90% humidity and 90° in Texas, but is there anywhere in America this week where Chelsea would be wearing a long sleeve sweater with a very thick, heavy polyester, fur cuffs and collar?

Nick & Sharon…

I like Sharon and Nick as coparents but I am not even 100% sure I want them romantically anymore.

I do feel the writers have been sort of playing around with the fans but is it getting to the point they should stay separated or you hope the show still reunite them?

For me I am probably like keep them separated. They are too old to be playing this “will they, won’t they” games.

You know how everyone was saying how the drugs Nick has look like candies like little smarties, and everyone was saying how dumb the writers are because of it...

I just had the thought maybe they made it look like candy on purpose, and depending on how old Christian is now maybe he'll find them when Nick drops them out of his pants and takes them thinking they're candy and overdoses on them and almost dies.

Danny missing?

I find it weird that they would bring this up just randomly ... please don't tell me Victor kidnapped yet another person ... if so, I'm throwing my tv out the window.

Wedding Elephants - NOT carny

With all due respect to travelling entertainers.

Dear JB, Billy and Sally,

In India, many weddings have the groom arrive riding an elephant. It's a beautiful part of the ceremony and means a lot to the groom's family. It's a shame that you have not had the opportunity to experience an Indian weddings. Bold colors, dancing, and delicious food.

Coffee cups

Has anyone else noticed when they have empty cups as props it's SO OBVIOUS?! The way they hold them, tilt them, and the sound of an empty cup on the counter or table.

You know if we handle any actual cup of coffee that way, it'll be spilled, even a paper cup with a lid.

Just one tiny detail they can make more realistic by even just filling it halfway with water.

Or better acting skills. 😅

I really hope they find a way to keep Roger Howarth around!!

Damn, he's a good actor!! I think today showed that he is NOT playing Phyllis and only pretending to have amnesia. His shocked and unsettled reaction when Phyllis mentioned the terrible things he's done was authentic and what you'd expect from someone with amnesia.

* Edit: do you know how to tell when someone is really good at…anything?? A: they make it look natural and effortless—just like Roger’s acting.

Phyllis might be in trouble though if he regains his memory and realizes how she has been using him..

Btw, Phyllis' and Patty's interactions today were gold!! 😁🤣 We need more of that!

Devon is making me tired.

Listen. I get it. His kid was taken on a bizarre, confusing, week-long roadtrip without his permission. He had no idea what Mariah was doing/thinking, and he didn’t know if he would see his 7-year-old again. Dude has every right to be angry and horrified.

That said.

I genuinely do not understand what HE does not understand about the “why” of it all. Mariah was clinically psychotic. She was being directed by her evil, lifelong abuser- at least in her brain. He was real to her. He sat beside her. She knew in her heart that taking the kid from his family was wrong, but she genuinely believed, due to her psychosis and the hallucinations of Ian, that “Bowie” was “meant to be” her son. That he was “safest” with her.

The woman is sick. Period. What she did was wrong. She knows it. But at the time, in the thick of her psychotic break, her dead abuser had her convinced that it was ultimately for the best for everyone involved.

My point? Devon *has* the answers. He has the “why.” He can be angry. He can be hurt. He can take his time to process and get the help HE definitely needs to work through a terrible ordeal. He doesn’t have to forgive Mariah now, or ever. He owes her nothing.

But for the love of Pete, man: understand that psychosis and severe mental illness is never black and white. She “chose” to take him. Sure. And she was also convinced that Dom was hers. That his place was with her, according to the continued brainwashing of the ghost in her mind.

The girl needs continued help and medication and all the things. Stop acting like she was in control of her actions. She wasn’t.

End rant.

If you woke up in Genoa City, what would you do?

First of all I’m keeping receipts because everybody’s exposing each other with recordings, evidence, and dramatic confessions every other business day.

Second, I’m avoiding Newman Enterprises because somehow every meeting turns into Victor threatening somebody in a calm voice while Nick looks like he hasn’t slept in a month.

Third, stay OUT of Sharon’s conversations at Crimson Lights because that coffee shop knows everybody’s business before the police do.

Fourth, avoid weddings, engagement parties, charity galas, and corporate celebrations because Genoa City treats peaceful events like a personal insult.

Fifth, never get involved in Chancellor-Winters meetings because one little disagreement suddenly becomes “since we’re telling the truth…” and now trauma from 2016 is getting brought back up.

Sixth, if Phyllis starts talking fast and acting confident? Leave immediately because somebody’s about to get exposed.

Seventh, stop trusting Kyle every time he says he’s trying to do the right thing. Sir your “good intentions” destroy lives weekly.

Lastly, if somebody walks up whispering “there’s something you need to know…” I’m packing my bags because either:

• Somebody came back from the dead

• Somebody has amnesia

• Or Victor Newman already knows everything anyway.
