Holden, Holden, Holden. I really want to like this character but I hate the way they write him as such a dope.

1. Why is Holden torn about whether he will support Lily, his sister or Billy, a stranger?? Yes, this is a new found familial relationship but so is Claire with her family. Claire would play Holden's ass in a heartbeat if her family needed her to do so. She wouldn't think twice! On soaps, families ALWAYS stick together in the end.

Why is the Winters family so different??🤔

2. Why is Holden asking Claire for family business advice instead of turning to his own mother?🙄 Better yet, he should be having a sit-down discussion directly with Lily.

3. Why are there no scenes between Holden and his mother?

So many BASIC questions.

The writers ​dumb down Lily every chance they get and it really pisses me off ‼️

Help me understand why LILY is not the lead on the meeting with the Abbotts?? At the very least, she should be there with Cain. Kane is a little more than her baby daddy right now and an employee of her company. The stakes don't get any higher than losing the company completely. Why would she stay behind??

Victoria would be in that room. Ashley would be in that room. Jill would be in that room. Even Nikki would be in that room.

WHY not Lily??

Maybe Stephie shouldn't be with anybody at all! I'm so tired of these recycled storylines every 18 months! Is she pregnant again? I'm sure she is about to disappear for 9 months yet again. I fully support her growing her family but they need to write different story lines concerning her absences. If that's not the case, that makes this storyline with Finn and Steffi all the more ridiculous.

So here go​ with another random USELESS character, Nick's new love interest. SMH

Can't wait to see what her ulterior motive will be. Guessing it will be something to do with her husband.

And what about Sharon??

I really wish somebody other than Lily Winters in that family could have a decent CONSISTENT storyline.

Why do I have a feeling that Nick is going to end up thinking he killed Matt?? They keep foreshadowing that Matt hasn't really changed. Matt keeps reminding EVERYBODY that he still remembers how bad he was even though he's changed now 😂 I hope they don't go with this trite writing again but Nick is either going to kidnap Matt and something bad happens, or he's going to think he killed Matt and Matt is going to come back and torment him for 6 to 12 months before everybody finds out that Matt isn't really dead. Of course, Nick will go to jail and hallucinate. But the hallucination won't be real. I hope I'm wrong but I just see that that's the way they're going with this one...

Maybe it's me, but I personally would not be comfortable with the way Adam always presumes this level of intimacy with Sally because of their past relationship. He had a lot of nerve being angry because she didn't keep secrets from Billy. Also today, he was talking to her about her pregnancy foods. I get that they have the miscarriage bond but both have moved on. I truly hope they don't put that couple back together but it really feels like that's where they're heading.

Matt opining about his job contract had me laughing so hard!! The suit was bad enough but when he got to the job title (and his rationale for said job title), I fell out in the floor 😂😂😂

How quickly they forget their own roots! Katie acts like she was born into money. She wasn't! Katie is so wrong for her assumptions about Dylan and her character. That is the long time pattern with the show that poor people MUST be schemers looking for the come up. Stephanie looked at Brook that way and on and on. Here we are with Dylan's turn🙄

If I'm honest, the only scenes I really look forward to on Young and the Restless these days are the ones that include Roger Haworth. He is simply captivating as an actor. I'm also wondering if he does some of his own writing because the wit is next level!!

Devon's character is written in a way that people love to hate him. He always comes off as a know it all, meddling ass.

But in THIS instance with mariah, he is COMPLETELY right. I don't care that people like her character, the writers turned her into a PSYCHO. She keeps conveniently drifting in and out of her psychosis with Ian Ward every few months and that's okay with everybody. Devon was put in a position of not being able to protect his family from a nut case who could have disappeared with his child or worse.

Behavioral health treatment is NOT an exact science. That's also what makes this so ridiculous with how quickly they pretend people are magically healed.

On top of that, Devon should be able to take Christine to the bar for lack of victim notification and other serious infractions that demonstrate absolutely no concern for the victims. Christine's role is to protect the people, not constantly advocating for the perpetrators of crimes and harm. There should have been a hearing before Mariah was released, and Devon and Abby should have been made aware of it. Even if they couldn't speak, they should have been given that courtesy which is the law and most places.

Mariah committed a whole azz federal crime and she's back 2 months later ready to go!🤔 😂 I know that people love her character but there's no way in the world she should be on the street.

Can we just STOP story lines with criminal justice and behavioral health components?? They are so ridiculously UNREALISTIC that they are laughable even for soap operas! The sentences are anything but considerate of the victims. The treatment is just a paper pledge that you'll do better. And none of the therapists have ethics. Not even the most basic.

Phyllis is CERTIFIABLE! Every time you think she's getting it together, she goes off the deep end. Matt really owes her NO explanation about his movements. NONE. They are NOT in a relationship and he is NOT giving her that impression. Hooking up is NOT a relationship.

Unless they change the writing soon, both Dylan AND Will are looking like complete NUTS but just in different ways. Dylan is in a one-way love affair. She has lost her mind over a man who has lost his mind over somebody else! The fact that he wouldn't even have sex with her when she was doing everything she could to have sex with him says a lot about his desire level.

Will's reaction to Dylan's great love for him is going to be very interesting. If he's a decent guy, he's going to distance himself from her because he knows he does not share those feelings. At all.

To be fair, Will has not given Dylan ANY indication that he truly wants to be with her in a relationship. Quite the opposite. He's flirted with her as a back-up plan. But he has never looked at her as his first choice. We just see Dylan repeatedly throwing herself at him and professing her undying loyalty to him because he gave her shelter. He's chasing his ex while Dylan is picking out wedding patterns with her new bestie. Even today, Will said he planned to be alone when Deke came over. He didn't seem interested in seeing Dylan.

I am a big Dylan fan but I don't like the way they are writing her right now. Fighting for someone who is fighting for somebody else is the definition of insanity. I would love to see her and Will together at some point but only after he's gotten Electra out of his system.

I know Will is a fan favorite, but he really is looking like an obsessed loser. He has anger management issues and typically has a bottle in his hand when he's acting out.
