hello :) even though i don't dress in decora kei, i've been into jfashion for a very long time (i have promised myself that one of the first things i will put money towards once i get a job in my profession is my first egl coord. in the meantime, my personal style leans heavily towards aristocrat or mori kei depending on the day)
my friend introduced me to making kandi singles last year, and i've found i really like making colorful things even though they don't match my personal style lol. it's been really therapeutic to see bright colors and cute things while i sort out my post-grad life
recently, seeing the cool accessories people make and wear here has been inspiring me to try to make new things. after months of making only bracelets, i made my first necklace today!!!!! hopefully when i acquire more materials i can make it more colorful
i also was inspired by the hair additions i've been seeing people add to their hair, so i tried doing that to an already-scuffed sonny angel and IMMEDIATELY fucked it up LOL. i don't like how it looks and i imagine it's been done before but it was very cathartic to make. for now it's a charm that sits on my worktable

I litterly adore this look! Although when getting my stuff together to get all dressed up I noticed I was feeling REALLY exhausted, I pushed through anyway assuming it was just a side effect of my medicine and well I usually make tiktoks when in Decora and I didnt even post anything while dressed up, and looking back at the videos I was extrenly lacking my normal upbeat energy and well when I woke up this morning I found the cause for the exhaustion

Since I was a kid I’ve wanted to get into decora (I’ve gone to anime conventions since I was 12 and have always been drawn to buying accessories and stuff, and I’ve always loved making kandi for fun) but I’ve only recently decided to commit to participating in the fashion. So for a pride event last week, I decided to commit to my first sincere, earnest decora look! I’m really nervous about it, but I’m so happy with how it turned out. I look forward to doing more soon!

all stamp hairclips, choker, necklace, bead chains are diy/handmade. and yes I used real stamps from my collection!
i had a very eventful day wearing that, seeing obsession and hanging out with my sister and friend, then going to an olivia rodrigo official listening party and making new friends. so so exhausted but so full of joy.
