Hello everyone, my friend made a pretty in-depth review/analysis of Amon: The Apocalypse of Devilman.

He talks a lot about the OVA’s horror, violence, atmosphere, and where he thinks the emotional writing falls short. The video is very informative and well done.

One of my favorite parts is when he goes into detail about the relationship between Miki and Akira. The connection they have is implemented well in the story. Hearing the main character's role in the story was also really well explained.

Even if you disagree with the take, there’s a lot of detailed discussion about Miki, Akira, Amon, and the OVA’s pacing/build-up.

Would appreciate anyone checking it out or sharing thoughts.

So I watched all of Devilman Crybaby and it’s one of my favorite series really heavy with emotions and a wild ride. I’m sure this has been asked multiple times already but I’m still not sure how to continue.

I’m down to start with the original but how can I watch or read it? What about the other adaptations? Is online reading the only way? I’ll pay for the books or the anime
