I am conflicted on which version I should buy. I see that there is a sale with the PS5 version, but I also like the idea of the portability and convenience of the game anywhere with the switch. As for performance, I am assuming they are the same considering that the new performance mode is out.

So I’m finishing up post game fights and side quests and then I’m gonna start maxing out my team for Mega+, but I had a oration about speed. Since all my Digimon will be at 9999 speed, who goes first? Would the order be the order in which the mons are positioned on the team? Also are enemies gonna have 9999 speed as well? If so, how does the game decide who goes first?
Recently got the game and really loving the game better than CS/HM. Also noticed that with the digifarms and the stats that carry over from evolving, every digimon can eventually hit 9999 stats, even those that doesnt scale with atk/int respectively. Also with attachment skills being interchangeable as well, the only thing that makes each digimon unique are their special skills. In that case, can i just build/play the game however i want if i can just max any digimon and move skills around except special skills? Is there like no defining meta/must haves?

I recently just finished Digimon Time Strangers. At least the story mode for it. I still have side missions.
But I think people really over exaggerate on how bad the story is. Like it's not peak fiction but the story is interesting with the fact >!Aeigiomon is the shadow the entire time and we are also Aeigiomon. I think it is a really enjoyable story even with its flaws.!<
It definitely does have a lot of flaws though I won't deny that. Inori feels pretty one dimensional with her pretty much only defining characteristics being that she's nice and even then I don't think she's the best at that in the game. I think the way they handled Venusmon was a better showing. Venusmon is nice and does want peace with everyone but she understands certain things aren't always going to pan out and sometimes you gotta make those tough decisions like when she poisoned Neptunemon to try and keep her village safe. I think they should have explored at least some darker idea with Inori such as maybe idk she becomes too obsessed with Aeigiomon becoming like her brother that she keeps forcing that on him to the point it's one of the main cruxes for his turning. She just doesn't feel like she should be one of the protagonist. That's not to say she's unbearable I quite liked the ending where's she's crying for Jupitermon and she gets to be with her brother again.
I think it's a solid 7/10 maybe 6/10 but nothing adhorent. I made a post complaining about the story a couple days ago but I've changed my mind it's really not that bad just nothing insanely good. Still would call it good, even great.
I also think it's funny how they repeatedly go out of their way to glaze characters like Omni Mon and the Demon Lords. Like they repeated that they're lucky the demon lords are fake like 15 times and Omnimon does more DMG than we did with the Olympus 12 to Chronomons Shield. Also who exactly is the God they were referencing is it like a known Digimon or at least an implied one or what. I haven't actually finished the anime

So I just started playing the game and got to the Vulcanusmon shop and realized I don't have the materials to get the human spirits of Fire and Light and I'm wondering how fucked I am, I'm sure I will be able to go back to the human world at some point but I'm worried that by that point Agunimon and Lobomon and the rest of of the Susanoomon line will be useless
I'm trying to play through the game relatively blind, but this is making me a bit paranoid about one of the things I *do* know is in the game - I know that there's a point where, if you haven't done enough sidequests, you get locked out of megas (and ultimates?) until the endgame/postgame. This is making me wonder, how obvious do they make it when you're approaching that point? Is it easy to miss some of the sidequests without a guide?
Unrelated second question, but I must be missing something obvious; why can't I place items on the DigiFarm? The "place items" option is only letting me move and/or remove the objects already there.
Edit: I'm playing on Switch 1, if that matters at all.
They both look like they naturally come after Ginryumon (appearance wise). But which is the true successor of the line? Or are both of them "natural"?
If the question seems strange, this is my first digimon game.
I got the game recently and I have been enjoying it but I do not understand the bond, the blue stats or anything like that. I have some I just get to max level and digivolve it but feel like the stats not that great. Idk how to fix it. Please help, probably need to be explained at a 3rd grade level 🤣🤣
Esse jogo me surpreende cada vez mais , essa DLC apesar de mais curta que a primeira , é muito superior. A história é muito melhor e os Digimon que foram introduzidos são maravilhosos.
So, I've been playing this on my Switch (Ultimate Edition) and it's being a blast. My first digimon game and I never expected it to be this good. So far I've been converting Digimon once they reach 200% and sometimes leaving them at the farm (although I often forget to put them back in).
However, after reaching Junomon and Agent Level 5, I find that I can only evolve 2 of my Digimon, my Patamon starter from Angemon to MagnaAngemon and a Betamon I got at 200% from Seadramon to MegaSeadramon one of which went through training to up its stats. Most of them are hundreds of stats behind despite being at Champion level.
Did I miss something or is this how the game is intended to be at this point? Am I supposed to train them in the farm to recover these stats (some already maxed their level) or Devolve them now?
What is the ideal training path?

I was looking forward to doing a new playthrough after beating the game but after learning that all the enemies deal 9999 damage and you need a fully maxed out team (both in levels and stats) to stand a chance, I lost interest. I don’t have the patience to max out even a single Digimon.
So long story short it's a Gabumon who was a clouse friends with a leomon/panjyamon who died and is his last mements gived oll his data to Gabumon giving him oll of his memerys feeling and mind hoping he will keep doing what leomon/panjyamon ollways wanted to do
So I beat the game for the first time today (Hard mode no items) and I’m thinking about what team I’m gonna run for Mega+. I’m thinking I should have 2 Digimon from each of the 3 major types (Vaccine, Data, Virus) with 2 of them being for support. I have Venusmon right now, but I’m wondering who I should pick as my second support that is either a Virus or Data type. For DPS, I want to run an Omnimom variant, Zombie Plutomom, Jessmon, and another Vaccine type since there’s so many Virus type enemies. Does this sound like a good plan?
EDIT: My current plan is Omnimom (whichever variant is best), Plutomon, Lilithmon (for a strong magic attacker), Jesmon, Lotosmon, and Venusmon
Not gonna lie, paired with magic theft… it’s quite the combo 😯
