It’s not always easy to pick a favourite, given features and style along with sound quality, but some fit better than others in one’s life. Don't worry...this wasn't my "good" player. It was a non-functional parts unit I had on hand.
When I press play this happens without the cd installed as well as when the cd is installed and then it turns off and the display shows batt 00 only. Does anybody know what's happening here?
I have a 1993 Sony Discman D-33 that has been working fine until now. It is no longer powered by batteries, and I don't have an AC adaptor to test it. I have tried fresh batteries and ensured that the hold switch is turned off. I have cleaned the battery contacts with alcohol. I thought something connecting the battery compartment to the board may be loose so I took the back panel off and this small piece fell out. I don't know where it goes.
