I own a Lenovo yoga 7i and it has faulty drivers. I have a fresh reinstall and everything works. After I update it goes to shit and my touch pad only works half the time. How to I block driver updates and allow everything else to be upgraded. I have a fresh install but will not update online until this gets sorted out. Most of the tutorials I see are just for nvidia drivers.
I have a 2023 yoga 7i 16.5. I had had a faulty track pad with in the first year of owning it. It works sometimes. I always feel like it works amazing on a fresh install and then drivers update and it goes to shit. I need to find proper drivers on a fresh install and stop updates for the track pad. Never done this before. Has anyone else had this issue. I don’t have the money to replace and I would love to keep it out of a landfill
I am in the process of getting ready to rebuild the game pad. The R and L triggers are the worst they are stuck and don’t allow me to control the Wii U. I don’t see how this will fix them. And do I have the right part. I ordered from Ali express. I currently have analog sticks and rubber membranes to replace because why not I am taking this thing apart. The battery seems to be fine so I don’t need that at the moment. Edit: I figured out the problem only half of the controllers ribbon cable. Time to order again and wait lol. Might try to get it on eBay so I don’t wait a month again.
I was wondering if it’s worth getting a 360. I have a ps3 Wii U and was thinking about adding a 360 for western gaming and ports. So I can play fallout new Vegas and old dragon age games. Also halo nights. I know that the ports are better and wonder if I can use it for its strengths . I want to get on play mostly on hard drive so I don’t have to collect discs and use usb adapters to use any controller. Which version should I get. Was thinking jasper or slim. I love the size of the slim but the jasper is so iconic and I love the white.
My fairly new hobby is interior design for the maximalist lol. My name is Skyler and go by she/them pronouns. I have been only out for a few months to family. I feel this project was one of the first for me to show my nb side. It is kind of freeing that I have this much flexibility and control. I am constantly adding to my own bedroom. It’s crazy cluttered gaming/office/relaxing room. These are some things I have done.
Will update on here when they change. Lots of my design is about accessibility and coming up with ways to make my autistic/adhd nonbianary brain work. Everything needs to be convenient and accessible. I even have a bed chair back and desk.
I feel this could break into helping others with accessibility like if you can’t walk making things close by and not easy to get lost.
There are lots of ways to make life easier and it takes going to dolar store, wallmart. I got lots of stuff from Ali express, Amazon and Etsy. But I mostly look for stuff at thrift stores and by nothing groups. I am also getting into diy. I have shelves I bought from goodwill for like 3.99 and then I spray painted them. I can go on in my posts. I just want to end this and say hi everyone.
Oh that tablet system is a Wii U. I kind of made it the center of this room.
This is a vintage Northface bag I found last year. I paid like 100$ at an outdoor gear consignment shop. It had the original zip ties on all the straps. It was never used and loved the colors. I just need to get in shape and plan a trip that would use this size of pack. I think this is 90s but I am not sure.
My new to me vintage Osprey bag made in the USA in Colorado. I do not know the year of it or model. I got it for 10.99 at the goodwill I work at. Can anyone help me identify it. I want to try going on a hike with it when my health gets better. This will go well with my north face that I will show on here in the future. I kind of want to wash it. I didn’t see any tears when I picked it up.
So I found these locker organizers at dollar general today. These have magnetic backs but you could easily add 3M command strips to these and organize your Wii controllers. They were $1.25 a piece. Much cheaper than Amazon. Plus fun colors. There was of course black and white but what’s the fun of that.
My local retro game store did not update the prices on these games. I can’t believe I got tokken for this price. I am lucky. These games seem to be going up like everything else. Not asking for valuation I already know the prices. I ran out the store lol.

I have a pair of Corsair void headphones. Old enough to be micro usb charging. The battery is dead and it needs new pads. Is it worth putting money into it. Good pads are like 30$ and a fresh battery is 15$ or would it be better spent on a new headset?

My doodle mix Nova is having issues with dog food. She refuses to eat the hills science diet dog food sensitive stomach. It might be chicken unless there is a topper or something in it. I am now in the hunt to find new dog food. What are good diet choices. I know purina pro is big. I want to keep it to science based even though she prefers the raw stuff when I give it to her. She has stomach issues off and on. She didn’t have a problem with her food over the winter.
This project has been going on for a long time. I modded my Wii U. I am able to mount my external 1tb drive with Ethernet and GameCube controller adapter. It’s far from done and I have to test it all and make it look nice. But the hdd powers on right. This setup is kind of mad scientist level. I got these mounts from Etsy if anyone is interested.
I do not know what to do with move controllers. They were a giant waist of money back in the day. Going through stuff thinking of getting rid of it. Don’t know if I will regret it.
I found this pc case at savers and wonder if it's for servers. It was locked on both ends. I wonder if I can get past the locks. There was no hardware inside. It was 14.99.
I feel cheated really I bought this device from Savers for 35$ and it's account locked. I will try to bring it back even though it says no returns. I didn't have a charge cord with me at the store.
So I have bought a new USB 2.0 8GB flash drive tried it again on 3 Samsung ssd stats hard drives I had around. Some were used in old ps3s. Now I am thinking I need to try a fresh hard drive. Get like a 2 TB one. What does everyone recommend using? All the prices seem to be too damn high. So want a dependable one.
I am trying to upgrade my slim hard drive to an old sata ssd drive. It came from another ps3 I had. I for the life of me can not get new firmware on and have it formatted. I tried different ps3s and even different hard drives. I have tried to redo the usb flash drive over again to make sure I didn’t format anything wrong. I could try a different flash drive but my computer reads it every time and I made sure is was formatted to fat 32. I don’t know what else to try. The file format was correct. It should work.
