I regret giving away my wii and wii u for a switch 2

I got a wii last year around December and I got like 5 mario games. I played some of the games but at the time I thought to my self, "i dont need this is dont ever play it." Basically it played the wii once and then it just sat there. I also had a wii u that I gave away along with the wii. I gave it away to trade someone for a switch 2 which giving the wii and wii u with there games reduced the trade price to $70 so technically i got a super discount on a switch 2, brand new too. But now I realize how dumb that trade was and I miss my wiis. 😢

No Motion Plus Inside Apparently? (I Hope I asked this in the right subreddit)

I have this Yoshi Wii remote that’s supposed to have Wii motion plus inside but for some reason the Wii motion plus has NEVER worked. I’ve taken out the batteries as many times as I could and tried everything besides opening the remote and nothing worked. Is there any strategy on what I can do on getting this to work, whether that would be a basic fix or possibly breaking open the Wii remote. I’m hoping to find a solution

Help how do you unplug the ribbon cable

I feel stupid but nowhere can a exact idea of how to do it with my anxiety going through the roof in fear of me breaking it

Edit: I got it, all of the videos I found on YouTube said there was a lever you have to lift up on, little did I know it was the plug in itself😑

Should I use my old Wii mini or buy a “new” Wii?

Hello everybody, I recently scored and bought an old just dance game. I have a Wii mini from when I was a kid and was seeing if I could still play my game on this console using a converter of sorts but I haven’t found any info online. The only option I found on Amazon isn’t compatible with the Wii mini. ): Do you guys have any info on anything that’s compatible or should I just go ahead and buy a Wii?

Someone has abandoned a balance board on my street. Should I go and claim it (I don't have one already)

School kids will be leaving in less than an hour and coming this way. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to break it

Edit: she has been saved and cleaned up a little. It'll probably take me a bit to clean off the corrosion so I'm unable to test if it's working just yet. I'll update when I can, but in the meantime please recommend some games to try out with it
