If you miss the old PES 2013 online days, here’s some good news: ThirteenServer, an unofficial community server for Pro Evolution Soccer 2013, has been running for PC players on Windows and Linux, and now it’s finally coming to PlayStation too. PS3 is officially supported, both on original hardware and on the RPCS3 emulator!

What you get:

• Ranked matches and friendlies
• Divisions, communities and online Master League
• Leaderboards and competitions
• Relays in Europe, North and South America and Asia, so matches still work with strict NAT
• Completely free

How to connect (takes a few minutes):

PS3 – Console setup

1. Point the PS3 at our DNS – Settings → Network Settings → Internet Connection Settings → Custom. Pick your connection as usual, then set DNS to Manual with both the primary and the secondary DNS shown below. Leave everything else on Automatic and UPnP on Enable.
2. Test the connection – Run the connection test. PSN sign in keeps working: only PES 2013 is pointed at us.
3. Go online in PES 2013 – Sign in with your PSN account. Your ThirteenServer account is made on the spot, and the game shows your website password once: save it.
4. Get the data pack – The game offers our data pack when you go online. Choose the normal download, it takes a few minutes.

Set DNS back to Automatic to go back to the original servers.

Hello, I was wondering if there’s any digital only games or just any expensive games on physical on the PS3 store that I should get before the store closes. Recently purchased Infamous and the Sonic Adventure duology.

I’ve always wanted to own all 3! Feels so good to have the trilogy.

After almost 2 months

I am kinda strugling to remove the leftover sticker and adhesive from this paper cover and so far I have not found a safe and efficent solution for this.

I've had this one for about 5 years, and I have to say, it's awesome. I did some research, and it's considered the most reliable model out of the box since it generates less heat thanks to the smaller chip hardware and the top-loading disc tray using less moving parts than the previous models. However, it is also not the most beloved model?

I did hear that Sony didn't supply an HDMI cable out of the box, and that is an understandable frustration. It also lacks PS2 backwards compatibility like the early fat model, and it only has 2 USB ports. On top of that, I hear some people saying that the top-loading disc tray is "ugly", and I don't fully agree with that, but this is also subjective. It isn't as sleek as the previous models, I will admit, but I also like knowing that my discs aren't going to get stuck because of a malfunction in the disc drive.

The other complaints I would say are valid, but the lack of PS2 back-compat isn't exclusive to this model since only one model has it to begin with, and it still retains PS1 back-compat. There is also a complaint that I have had with all PS3 models in general, and that is that damn near every game you own on disc has to be installed, which can take up a lot of space in your hard drive. Luckily, the model I have here came with a 500 GB hard drive. I don't know if that's what most or all of the Super Slims come with, but I am very glad mine does at least. I can keep an extensive physical collection, and I still have more than enough room to install digital games as well. You can let me know below if this is the standard for Super Slims or not, but if it is, then that is amazing, because I hear that upgrading the storage in a PS3 can be just as expensive as buying a new system all together.

Overall, I do love the Super Slim, and I would recommend it for first time buyers if you're not looking for a PS2 back-compat model specifically (which is notoriously the most unreliable model unfortunately). What about you guys? What is your opinion on the super slim and how it compares to the other PS3 models?

I went onto the ps3 at 7:03 October 6th 2026 just to browse. when i decide lets check and see if the search is working.

I expected the usual blue screen but no i actually loaded the letters and numbers

The music is playing with little hitches here and there and the slideshow is going

So many games arriving from around the globe. Wish they'd get here sooner

Because it's the best controller ever (in my opinion). Metal Grey edition too

-Before you question why I added King's Field to the mix, just know that I have played through this game like 20 times. It is my favorite PS1 game and it definitely qualifies for most played games on my PS3

-Demon's Souls is just pure nostalgia at this point. Nothing new to do, no new trophies to collect, yet I still play through the game at least once a year, which I can do in one sitting since Demon's Souls is such a short game.

-Both Sonic Racing games are still the best sonic racing games, even with the new PS5 Crossworlds game. Not a bad game by any means, just not as good as the 2 games on the PS3.

-3D Dot Game Heores is the greatest non Zelda, Zelda game ever made! Loved downloading all the cool character creations online from all the people that are much more creative than me ;)

-I still play Modnation Racers online thanks to the up and running private servers!

-Only real hoopers know about NFL Blitz the League games.

-Ahhh Civilization Revolution, so many hours into this game. There is not a single Civilization game and dlc I don't own. I'm definitely a hard-core civ fan and Civilization Revolution is my favorite in the series, just perfection for the console.
