Don't mind me just using my DualShock 3 with my OLED Nintendo Switch
Because it's the best controller ever (in my opinion). Metal Grey edition too

Found this K03 in a sorry state with dead spiders attached. Though the warranty sticker is on, it is long YLOD, hopefully just needs new caps to get it working again>!!<
Broke my old N3DSXL after dropping it, so I picked up this N3DSLL from Japan for £140 ($190 USD) including shipping/import charges.
As you can see in the photos, the seller only stated the top panel was IPS. However, upon receiving it, I found out the bottom panel is also IPS! An awesome bonus for me, I know the dual IPS are super rare.
It's in excellent condition, according to the activity log only has 300 hours of use.
I also bought a case for this one so I will hopefully not drop it like my old one. Or at least, not damage it if dropped
With a couple games. All for £58
Saw a rare refurbished circuit board found in CECHB model
Opening this CECHL, YLOD, did Syscon reader, 1002s. Took the lid off two NECs and well the picture says the rest.
Fortunately this model has a reliable RSX with it being 65nm, so it can be saved with some new capacitors which I plan to do. It's a shame how many others made it to landfill though as these caps were known to go bad (sometimes earlier/later than expected, mileage may vary)
Chat am I cooked?
Opened up 08 serial CECHC04 found some sharpie on the board and flux by the NECs, I assume it was sent in for repairs and the NECs got replaced.
The BD entrance had felt around it too, this is not common for a BC model
Here's to a real timeless gem in the series
Just playing Emerald on my N3DSXL all these years later, in a pub.
Looks as beautiful as ever the pre-battle scene.
And yes I did catch Rayquaza after about 8 resets and 50 ultra balls
Seller packed it well but used the worst courier (Evri) to ship it. Looks like it sustained heavy damage during shipping causing the door to be damaged and also cracked the shell.
So unfortunate
I have noticed there is a glaring crossover between GoAnimate/Vyond and Physical Media communities.
Specific individuals, such as Dan Sobel, will re-enact GoAnimate/Vyond mannerisms in real life. I saw a video when he went "oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh X, you are grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded for Y years. Go to your room right now" yet this Dan Sobel guy is clearly an adult (maybe with the mind of a child).
Not only did he say the words, but he also accurately mimicked the TTS delays etc which was both impressive and worrisome.
Has anyone else noticed this crossover between the two communities? Is it well documented?
p.s. Dan Sobel is not the only one who does this, but the most prolific from what I've seen
Honestly it is quite frightening how many of you on the sub are panicking and throwing money at $ony because they will shut the store (and going digital as well in general).
A lot of PS3 games are still priced the same as they were in 2013, yet many of you are eager to throw your money at $ony because of FOMO. Why?
I am not saying you should sail the seven seas.
A lot of games have a physical version - consider buying those instead. That way you can resell it in the future instead of psychologically held to ransom by $ony by panicking buying due to FOMO.
Is it just me who is feeling like this?
Tempted to buy this interesting guy for £90, seller says it works but has a faulty Blu-ray drive. Has unusual appearance
It's a CECHC03
So I delid this 45nm Cell in 2500 slim. Now it had the glue found in earlier models that is the same difficulty when delidding.
Some 2500 slims (and I think this applies to 3000 slims too) have a Cell variant that is much more difficult to delid.
Are there any ways to see if it is a harder Cell glue before actually putting the tool under the IHS and cutting? Maybe specific SKUs of Cell serials?
Which is your favourite looking Fat?
Mine is Metal Gear Solid 4
I did the LED code and it was 3034.
It does also display a screen but the graphics go glitchy. Then it will do a NoLOD after 30-40 seconds and turn off as shown.
RSX failure I guess? Rare for 40nm...
It's not a BC model, but. There is a high chance this is Frankied as 40nm/65nm
Booted it up and unfortunately it now has GLOD with artefacts
