Tacoma door scratch

I bought my Tacoma two weeks ago and came back from lunch to see this deep scratch. I can see through the paint.

Did someone key my car? Or a door? I didn’t hit anything.

I need advice to get this out and fix it. Should I go to the dealership? Any advice to cover the scratch?

Thank you!

How bad & costly is this fkup?

need advice/referral recommendations for a hickup

The garage door scraped the tailgate (from outside) so wanna know if we should pay out-of-pocket or claim insurance to fix it

If OOP, can be done for it affordably just for damage spots? Don’t have thousands to pay

What’s the cheapest way to fix this?

Well title has the question but recently I messed up my front bumper and needed to get to where I was going so I used zip ties to kind of hold it together until I can find a better solution. Looks like the tab from the bumper that holds on to the bracket is still wedged inside and had a clean rip from it.

Rust repair

I know the optimal way to repair rust is to cut the metal out and replace but I am looking for the second best method. I have a 2013 Honda Accord rusting out by the rocker panel by the rear wheel. Do rust encapsulaters? Any other suggestions? TIA

Clear coat is cloudy but feels completely smooth. What’s my best move?

Hey everyone I’m trying to figure out what to do with this patchy cloudiness showing up on my car.

It actually feels completely smooth when I run my finger over it so it isn't flaking or peeling. I tried doing a cut and polish on it which made it look shiny.

It doesn't bother me on my new (to me) car but I really want to keep it from getting any worse. Does this look like the clear coat is failing from the inside?

DIY buff out/touch up paint, detailer, or body shop?

To the best of my knowledge, this happened by someone backing out at the wrong angle and swiping my car. There is no denting, but white paint or abrasion (I can’t really tell) on my cladding and fender ridge, as well as a couple small chips taken out. The third pic I’ve outlined the scraping in red, and the chips in green. Is this a diy, a detail job, or body shop territory? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Wheel Fender Rust

Hey guys. My 2012 Dodge ram is rusting pretty bad around the rear wheel fenders. Pics are left and right side.
3 years ago I had a shop spray some bed liner along the entire truck. You can see the line. He was honest that it might buy me only a couple years before the rust would come through- which it did.
My plan is just to install some Bushwacker fender flares to hide the rust. Is that good move? I just need 3 more years before I buy a new truck.
But before I do that, is there a way to “treat” the area to slow the rust from getting worse? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks 🙏

Is this DYI or not really

Wanting to get feedback and see if this is something I could really do with 0 experience , take it to a body shop or buy the whole part at a junk yard ? It’s for a 2012 Toyota Tacoma . Is the back drivers side bumper area .

Any suggestion before I start cutting stuff up

This is DIY Project of mine for 2 years now, the theme is turning it into AE92 4 Door "Trueno", finally found a pair of JDM taillight for it.

I would to hear your suggestion on how you would do this, 3rd photo is what it should look like, notice the differences in boot line opening ( ‾‾‾‾‾‾ vs ‾⎸_⎹‾ ).

the taillight match the original (4th pic) in curvature but its longer and shorter in height.

My idea is to :

  1. Add material to hide the gap from above the taillight
  2. Cut a square section of the boot that are obstructing the taillight so the boot line would shift closer to the right of the new taillight
