What breed was my good boy adopted in 2009? Was adopted from a rescue in Columbus OH

I had the test and will give a free reward to anyone that gets one breed right. He was a good dog. 75 lbs full grown

Edit to add he is 25% of one breed I’ve never seen on here and his siblings looked similar to that breed as puppies

Help me know if she is a shepsky or not

I recently adopted my puppy from the shelter and fell in love with her. I did not want a puppy originally but was in the end convinced because of the promise of her being a husky mix (my favorite breed) I never wanted to shop but my first dog to be an adoption. Recently my friend came over and took some photos of her and google searched her. google told her that my puppy is actually a rat terrier. this sent me on a spiral and doing some research on the breed. she is 3 months old and I will love her no matter what but now I am starting to have doubts too that she is a shepsky. keep in mind when they told me they said she was a second gen shepsky born from two shepsky parents. It's just I did so much research on the breed to learn what I was getting into and the two could not be more different- from size to personality and coating. Please help if you had similar doubts with your puppy. I am probably going to get a test on her soon.

What breed?

Just got him from craigslist. Mom is 100% a purebred golden retriever. They say the dad is a lab but I just don’t see it.

beagle? foxhound? both?

long story short, someone dropped off a lost puppy at my fire station. did my due diligence to find his owners, but to no avail. it’s a week later and i’ve decided to keep him! i’m getting mixed thoughts on what he is, and just wanted to ask here! vet says he looks “beagle-ish”, some people are saying foxhound/lab, and some are saying beagle/foxhound. asking just for fun to see what you guys think :)

also i DO have clothes on in the last picture LMAO

Match me a breed!

Match me a breed

Wish list:

-absolutely no aggression

-must be good with small children

-minimal grooming preferred

-under 50 lbs preferred

-lower energy/ calmer vibe

-heat tolerant as we do live in Florida

-easy to train

Looking for an over all good family dog. Currently have a 6 month old baby and we have other small kids over a lot. We do have a large fenced in yard and a bench bred lab as well. We adore our lab but looking for something with significantly less energy for our next dog. Would also like a dog more compact for travel.

Dog breed?

This is Benny, me and my family got him from a shelter but I have no idea what he’s mixed with. When we got his medical papers, they said he was a border terrier mix which I can see in his face but border terriers grow to 11-15 pounds at full age and when we got him last week he was 9 weeks and 17 pounds. I’m wondering what he’s mixed with and how big is he going to get?

Guess the breed!

Just got this cutie about 2 weeks ago! What breed do we think he could be! He’s already 32 pounds at 15 weeks.

Any ideas on what she is?

I’ve had her a while she’s very sweet, but is incredibly nosy and herds me constantly on walks 😭 also she’s a senior dog

Which dog breed should I get?

Hi everyone! I’m a 19-year-old woman and will be going off to university soon, and I’d really love to get a dog. I’ve never owned one before, so I don’t have any direct experience, but I grew up with a cat and I’m very willing to learn and put in the effort.

I’m not especially athletic or sporty, but I do genuinely enjoy long walks and occasionally go hiking on weekends when I have the time. I grew up hiking with my family ever since I was little. I wouldn’t call myself highly experienced, but I can easily manage hikes of around five hours. I also love swimming and going to the beach. I travel quite a bit too, usually to warmer, sunny places where I can either relax in nature or explore cities and beautiful landscapes, so ideally I’d want a dog that could comfortably join me in those kinds of activities.

One thing that is important to me is feeling safe. Since I’ll likely be living alone, I’d love a dog whose presence would make me feel protected. However, I’ve also heard that traditional guard breeds like German Shepherds or Dobermans can be difficult for first-time owners, and I’m not sure I’d be equipped to properly handle breeds with those kinds of needs. In terms of size, I’d prefer a medium-sized dog. I’d also like a coat that doesn’t shed excessively if possible. I don’t mind brushing occasionally or dealing with seasonal shedding, but ideally not constant daily maintenance, haha. I don’t have allergies, so that part isn’t an issue. I’d also prefer a dog that isn’t extremely vocal; I’ve heard breeds like Huskies can be very loud and howl a lot, which probably wouldn’t be ideal for me as I‘ll probably be living in a flat and excessive howling could disturb other people.

As for appearance and breeds I’m drawn to, I absolutely love Shiba Inus and Akita Inus aesthetically. I also find Golden Retrievers and Border Collies adorable. Dalmatians were probably the first breed I ever fell in love with because of 101 Dalmatians, and honestly I still kind of adore them.

Based on all of this, what breeds do you think might suit me best?

I know what breeds my rescue is, but people are always stunned when they hear it. One is obvious, the second isn’t. Can you guess?

For the first photo… she loves to bring me tiny dead animals as a present… or maybe she’s hoping i help them? (She’s seen me care for and help many animals, so maybe?) She found a squirrel about to explode from bloat in the woods once this one was a squished frog. 🥴
