Somebody shotgunned one of my Dr. Peppers in the factory and put it back in the box😆

Was restocking my 12ct Dr. Pepper holder in my fridge when I noticed many of the cans in my new 24ct box were speckled with Dr. Pepper droplets on top. I didn’t think anything of it until I found this guy towards the back. No external damage to the box whatsoever; it was still sealed and everything. Nothing else out of the ordinary. Not mad, I completely understand the passion, but what are the odds XD? Anonymous Dr. Pepper employee, you are living the dream. I might suggest putting the hole opposite the tab side though, that way air rushes in the top while the delicious nectar flows out the hole for you.

The Most Popular Soda in Every State

New and improved map quality, you can actually see this map and zoom in.

Coke is surprisingly not that popular. Dr. pepper is now America’s soda of choice.

-This list was compiled by Instacart in 2025 based on orders under the soda category. It should be taken with a grain of salt, just a little pinch because it’s only based off orders from a certain grocery delivery platform, private label brands were not included

Why does Dr. Pepper smell like Labybugs?

Check out this new video on my channel! Linked to this post.

Why does Dr. Pepper smell like lady bugs? Is there somehow a deeper connection between this cute little bug and one of my favorite sodas? Is it just me? In this video, I learn about methoxypyrazines and their role not only in nature (through the defense mechanism of the red spotted creature), but their role in wine flavors and complex soda recipes. Enjoy this wild rabbit hole!

*Friendly disclaimer: I am not an expert on this matter. This is just my understanding and connection of the dots.

I want my Diet Dr. Pepper

For those of you who are buying Dr. Pete’s or Diet Dr. Pete’s, I think we can all agree that it’s better than having a regular cola or Pepsi, but it’s just not the same.

To that end, I am hoping if enough people request genuine Dr. Pepper syrups available in consumer packaging and include this phrase: “Please record this as a consumer product request rather than a product-availability inquiry,” then we might be able to get our genuine Dr. Pepper flavors for our SodaStreams.

Here is the link.

Bottle shape influences taste

Any Dr. Pepper that comes out of this bottle or the bottle on the right in the second image tastes like diluted syrup mixed with water. The bottle on the left in the second image tastes amazing every single time and I hate that I can hardly find it anywhere other than a few random truck stops. I don't know what's happened to DP since the new year rolled around but the bottles have been under carbonated so badly with those two bottles specifically. I know I sound crazy but I'm not. It is those two bottles shapes.

Diet or Zero Dr Pepper?

Which is better in your opinion taste wise?

I’m doing a little dirty soda stand and I wanna have some varieties other than the regular sodas for people who might be watching their weight or can’t have sugar for other reasons.

Help identifying a nostalgic product that smells like Dr Pepper

I tried Dr Pepper cream soda for the first time today, and smelled it before sipping. The smell immediately took my back to something girl body product I owned in early 00s but for the life of me I can’t figure out what. The smell is sweet obviously but it’s beyond that, and different from how the soda actually tastes. Can anyone help me identify what the product might actually be?

I MIGHT be a psycho for doing this, but…

Marshmallow Mateys x Creamy Coconut Dr Pepper.

Funnily enough, it’s not that bad lol, 8/10. Good cereal combined with a good variety of drink.

I miss Dr. Pepper. IDK why restaurants are not receiving any more...

I love Dr. Pepper. I miss it.

This is real. I am an human being - male, GenX, American... I grew up drinking Dr. Pepper more than any other soda.

Whenever I dine out or grab a bite anywhere, it's the only consistent drink on the fountain or menu.

But for over a month now, none of the restaurants have any. It's on their menu and on their fountain pump dispensers, but... nothing comes out but white soda water.

Burger King, KFC, Wendy's, Popeyes, Sonic, Thornton's Gas Stations, QuickTrip Gas Stations, Speedway and 7-Eleven...

ALL SOLD OUT. They say they are not getting shipments from Dr. Pepper. They have placed orders, but received none.

Is there a contract issue or something else going on here? OVER A MONTH without Dr. pepper in restaurants and convenience stores.

Locations: all western, northern, and southern suburbs of Chicago.
